Geek girl extrodinare!
I write fan fiction all over the place, a lot of it is archived over at Sycophant Hex, since (as lovely as the Petualnt Poetess is, there's no crossovers allowed) I've been a huge crossover kick lately.
I have no one true pair in Harry Potter. I write Hermione and Snape the majority of the time, but I'm open to anything.
I've loads more fandoms than Harry Potter - far too many to name, so let's just say I'm well rounded, eh? Due to how long it takes me to write, I'm trying not to post things anymore unless they are finished. This includes my current works in progress. Never fear, I've not abandoned a thing, just won't be posting until they're done.
You can always check out my livejournal for the whole geeky scoop on me.

Wow. Very intense. That would be a most horrible existence.

*nods* I think so as well. And given what we learned later about Tom Riddle and how his beginning life was a bit like that - I can see how he became so warped.
That's a very upsetting scenario you've painted, both for us to 'watch/read' and for her to live. I initially thought of it as Hermioine, but it could be Ginny. Will we ever know?
Oh, by the way, i had goosebumps all down my back and arms when I read this! *shivers*

I think the annominity is what makes it so painful. It could be Hermione, it could be Ginny, it could even be Luna -- they would all be susceptible to the same treatment in a facility such as this because of their 'delusional wizarding world' beliefs.
A very sad story - I think it's Hermione your are writing of. And it's tragic that she should waste away in a Muggle asylum like this. But thinking of the Longbottoms, it's utterly believable in a post-war scenario.

*nods* Most people seem to think it's Hermione... I wanted to leave it open ended because well... if she didn't know who she was, who are we to say. Thanks :o)

I liked this, and I liked that you let us decide for ourselves who she is. My mind wants to think Hermione, but I'd prefer to pretend it's Ginny or someone. LOL

LOL and here I was thinking of Luna all the while... (no, not really).
A lot of people assume that this is Hermione, and in a way I can see how they would.
Glad you posted it!
(And you're welcome!)
