I like holding hands and long walks on the beach
I love attempting to write. One day, I plan to learn how to do it properly.

Thanks to you, I see 'slightly improbable moustaches' everywhere these days. (Welcome! I'm glad you're posting over here.)
Response from marianne le fey (Author of Unreliable Sources)
Maybe I should introduce you to my Uncle Pip, the inspiration behind Bertie! Although slightly improbable hardly does his moustache justice. (And thank you very much, I'm thrilled to be here!)
What a terrific first chapter. I love the characterizations of Hermine and Snape. I'm really looking forward to future chapters!
Response from marianne le fey (Author of Unreliable Sources)
Thank you! Hopefully the next chapter will be up soon, but the whole story is on ffnet under the same name, if you want a sneak peak!
looking very much forward to witness the banter between Hermione and Seevrus. Love this
Response from marianne le fey (Author of Unreliable Sources)
Thanks! The next chapter is almost entirely just the two of them talking - hope you like it!
Sounds like Snape made a pretty penny off Skeeter while keeping her at a clueless distance. Brilliantly done. I think Hermione's really got her work cut out for her writing Snape's side of the story, but I look forward to seeing how his tale unfolds. Great start, BTW. :)
Response from marianne le fey (Author of Unreliable Sources)
Thank you very much! I really don't think Skeeter would be any match for Snape when Dumbledore isn't on hand to make sure he behaves. The second chapter is in the queue, but the complete (if less tidy) story is up on ffnet under the same name if you can't wait.
Loved the stonewalling of Skeeter. I hope this is only the first of many chapters. ^_^
Response from marianne le fey (Author of Unreliable Sources)
There are only two more chapters to go, I'm afraid, but I hope you like them. Thanks for the review!
Fascinating beginning! This is going to be amazingly intriguing!
Response from marianne le fey (Author of Unreliable Sources)
Thank you very much! I hope you enjoy the rest.
Poor Hermione and Snape. Both of them seem to be unable to express their true feelings, and possibly too caught up in their own feelings to read the other's properly. Hopefully the next chapter will give them a chance to lay them all out. I'm really enjoying this story and I look forward to more!

Well, what's an HGSS story without a few misunderstandings and undeclared emotions? Glad you like it!
How sad. All that work and now she feels left out. ^_^
Response from marianne le fey (Author of Unreliable Sources)
I know, poor lamb! Things do get better though!
This is wrenching--Hermione's reaction to his sufferent as she comes to realize his humanity, her slow realization of her feelings for him, and then her voluntary suppression of herself in his favor at her own book launch and resulting loneliness all lead me to hope that her sensitivity and hard work will be amply rewarded. It's interesting the way just working with him has already led her to a better sense of proportion, as evidenced by her more concise articles for Bertie and her greater appreciation of time with her friends. But I can't imagine (as she is clearly imagining) that Snape will be interested in tall giggly women in glittery robes. I look forward to your next!
Response from marianne le fey (Author of Unreliable Sources)
Lol, I imagine chatting with Snape would give you a better sense of perspective!I'm so glad you're enjoying this - thanks for your lovely review!
I think that when Hermione didn't show up that one Sunday afternoon because of Luna's birthday, Snape felt slighted. It had become a habit after all. She should have let him know that she wasn't coming. And his aloof attitude was because he had begun to feel something for her and assumed that by not coming on Sunday, she wanted to put some distance between them. Typical lack of communication and total misunderstanding. Hopefully they will eventually straighten things out.
Response from marianne le fey (Author of Unreliable Sources)
Oh yes, it's a typical unacknowledged affection and lack of communication fic - a personal weakness of mine! Happily, so are happy endings!
"It was impossible to write it as he had told it; it was all too coloured by her personal experience. Instead, she chose to write it as she had heard it, the story of a man in an impossible position. A man who somehow balanced petty cruelty with great nobility."This is brilliant! It's exactly the way I would think Severus would have wanted his story told.
Response from marianne le fey (Author of Unreliable Sources)
That you so much! That's an incredibly generous thing to say!
Wonder why Severus was acting so weird that day? And also, now that its over, how are they going to interact since Severus seems to want to ignore her. I hope Hermione doesn't take the first step in contacting him eventhough it would be in her character, I guess, to take the first step to find out what happened and how he is..
Response from marianne le fey (Author of Unreliable Sources)
Don't worry, they'll find excuses to meet! The last chapter's in the queue, so you'll have some answers soon! Thanks for reading and reviewing!
By the looks of it, the evening turned out quite the success. Hermione put a ton of heart and soul into the biography - and lost hers in the process. I hope that Snape has a good reason for acting like a jerk that one particular day, and doesn't forget her in the lurch.
Response from marianne le fey (Author of Unreliable Sources)
Well, she got to know the real him - how could she fail to love him? And, as for his being a jerk, she did disappear on him for five days without explanation, so he has some excuse . . . Thanks for your review :)
Just started reading your story, I had to laugh when I read that he has blonde hair and a beard. You would never think that Snape would look good as a blonde but our dear Mr. Rickman is a natural and I must say no matter if his hair is blonde or black and his eyes are hazel or dark gray he is scrumptious. I'm enjoying the beginning and looking forward to more. :-)
Response from marianne le fey (Author of Unreliable Sources)
It's true, while Alan Rickman looks lovely both beared and blond, it's certainly not a look for Snape . . .
I love this! More pretty please?
Response from marianne le fey (Author of Unreliable Sources)
Thank you! The last chapter's in the queue!
Loved this on ff.net and glad to see you begining to post here! Rawr! You are amazing! Just read your time turner fic and omg... Please, please, please write more? Please?
Response from marianne le fey (Author of Unreliable Sources)
Thank you so much - both for this review and the ones on ffnet! My goodness, for more reviews like this I'll go and work on another story straight away!
What an intriguing setup! I love Snape's disguises, and I particularly adore the comment you made about Lupin's appearance being deliberate in canon. I have never quite thought of it like that before, but once you pointed it out, I couldn't stop thinking about it I can't wrap my head around why Lupin would wear such shabby clothing when the ability to transfigure clothing seems to be a small feat accomplished by most first years -- unless, of course, it was a calculating disguise meant to endear him to Harry ("poor, innocent, sweet" Lupin).
I do look forward to Snape's interview! I wonder how personal and private he is willing to delve.
Response from marianne le fey (Author of Unreliable Sources)
Thank you very much! (and it's true, while I can accept that clothes can't be *made* magically - hence Mrs Weasley and Hermione both knitting - I find it very odd that anyone would have tatty clothes or a dusty room!)The interviews are mostly little snapshots, but I hope you like them!
What a lovely story! I really enjoyed your characterisation and the way that the plot gently unfolded. Thank you for writing it! Pxx
I enjoyed this immensely! It's sweet in just the right way, and your Snape and your Hermione are brilliant. Wonderful story!
Response from marianne le fey (Author of Unreliable Sources)
Thank you very much! i have to admit, I'm especially fond of them in this fic.

So beautiful, I really loved this! Laughs and tears, it kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. THANKS! POST MORE :):):)

Thank you! I'm afraid it might be a while until I post again, but I will be back eventually!
