The Tenant of Lyonesse Hall is on a temporary hiatus. Look for an update in winter 2012!

Very interesting, and thought provoking. thank you.
Hey, a completely new Pansy Parkinson.well, still the nose - up Slytherin. But finally got herself some education. Foucault isn't everyones nigth literature. At least she can retort and count one and one.Is life as a Slytherin really so hard these days. You nasty author.Well, seems she found someone to get along nicely with.Cute drabble!Thank you for sharing.

I hope I'm not nasty! *iz bad at picking up on humor* :S But thank you so much for reading! I hope you enjoy the next round.
Very intense take on the prompt - love the foray into the lives of two hugely overlooked characters!
Response from lady_rhian (Author of Dog-Ends)
I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
This is well written and an interesting look at a character we don't know much about.
Response from lady_rhian (Author of Dog-Ends)
Thank you, dear! *muah*
Aw, it's too bad these two couldn't get together. Maybe an illicit affair? Not that I condone such things, but in fandom... lol
Response from lady_rhian (Author of Dog-Ends)
LOL! Yes, fandom seems to be the caveat in these instances. Thanks for reading,

Powerful prose that begs for the next breath. Your story reads as if both girls suffocated in their lives and slowly chose to understand that they can share the solitude. Please, tell me that they stayed together, supporting one another and were able to sack the instructor.

. I left the ending purposely open ... I love stories that could go a multitude of directions. So, you can Choose Your Own Adventure and decide they stayed together. :-)
Ooh, like a psychological profiling! Incredibly interesting!

Thank you!
I love this. It's tight, and dense, and awkward and fantastic. Win.

You can literally feel the intensity of Astoria's fascination. And I always enjoy a well-written glimpse into a Slytherin behind the mask. Very well done. :)

This is brilliant. You have captured a tone here that is crisply authentic, somehow. Your word choices are perfect for the "hard, pug-faced" Pansy - eyes that could burn a hole in the floor. I can feel and taste the burning urgency of Astoria's fascination. Well done!

*hugs* Your support means the world to me, dear.
That was brilliant. Somehow I ended up feeling sorry for Draco, though.
Response from lady_rhian (Author of Dog-Ends)
Thank you! And yes, Draco does seem to be getting the short end of the stick.
Interesting perspective. That can't have been an easy relationship, as close knit as that society was.
Response from lady_rhian (Author of Dog-Ends)
Thank you, Rose! And no, I imagine that such relationships were not easy or even permissibe.

Hmmm, interesting. Very unusual, not quite sure what to think.
Response from lady_rhian (Author of Dog-Ends)
Well, thanks for reading anyway. :-)
I love the way this is written. Very unique, but it works so well. Also an interesting look on how Slytherins are now being treated. Your Pansy is a spitfire, and I kind of like her that way. Nice job.

! I adore Pansy and am glad others are willing to take a chance on her, too. :-)
Uff. This is brilliant, showcasing the two sides of the Slytherin post-war reaction: falling in line and fighting the (bigoted, xenophobic) system. Three years? Yes, I think Pansy's absolutely right to invoke 1984 and the Panopticon for what the Ministry is doing (and I'm glad the they stopped before employing the Ludovico technique for the reeducation process). Oh, Astoria, what a choice you've got before you...
Response from ofankoma (Reviewer)
*glad they stopped* (Really, must relearn English every day... or at least before I click 'submit.')And I adore the format choices you've made here. Perfectly sparse.
Response from lady_rhian (Author of Dog-Ends)
Thank you so much, dear! And I'm thrilled that you enjoyed the Panopticon reference. *grin* Wasn't sure if that'd fall flat.
