Jealousy rears its ugly head.
Response from Amita (Author of Redemption on the Installment Plan – VI)
Our heroine feels excluded. Is it our hero's fault?
I can just feel Hermione's head spinning in a thousand different directions on that last paragraph! She's hurt for a billion different reasons - they aren't including her in their convo, they aren't utilizing her for anything in the store. She's doesn't feel pretty enough next to Andy to garner Severus' attention. She's jealous of the easy way Andy talks to Severus. And what does she care anyway?AAAAAAAAAHHH!!!!!!

That describes the last paragraph: things don't look too good at the moment.
Wow. That is one long sentence. Congratulations on creating it. It really shows what an "unbalanced-feeling" Hermione thinks about.Me thinks that lady doth protest her disinterest too much.

Thanks. If you are feeling adventurous, there is 'Knocked for a Hoot Loop.'
Love the last paragraph. It sounds just like Hermione and her run-on sentences. ^_^

Thanks. It was an attempt to capture character.
Uh, I think the last paragraph got messed up in formatting, it is really hard to read.

It is intended to be one sentince to reflect our heroine's stream of thought. Some of the phrases were modified after a pause to clear the head.
Sheesh...Hermione excels at jumping to conclusions, doesn't she?

Yes, but not without reason. For her competition, imagine Cyd Charisse in 'Singing in the Rain.'
That last paragraph was a thing of perfection!

Thank you very much.

Thank you very much.
Interesting exchange between Hermione and Cormac, even now, she seems unattainable to him; perhaps, it's for the best. Her original good intentions with Andromeda seem to be betrayed and turned into jealousy as she witnesses the older witch's panache and ease interacting with Severus and inclusive of others--perhaps besides being an eye-opener for her, this will be a learning experience for Hermione in a positive way--and she'll understand if and why she cares anyway!

Thank you for your continued interest interest in this collection. Both in her professional and personal life, Hermione may be overdoing it, not allowing herself to relax and participate with others.Hard to say about Cormac. His current thoughts about Hermione areHermione is the cruelest girl, breedingAnguish out of the dead past, mixingMemory and regret, stirring Old hurts with bright smiles. But she was rebound girl, and He meant nothing to her. That thought would keep him safe, covering His past with a layer of indifference, feedingA little dignity with fresh insight.

Bittersweet and biting poem sprung from Cormac's reflections on Hermione and his/her life at the moment; in this series, poor Cormac seems to be tasting the bitter waters of life's experiences, disappointments, contrariness, etc.; poor lad--don't know if in this series about redemption if he will receive some long lasting relief or fulfillment.
