Tee hee. Nice common ground to start from. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the read and review.
I hope Hermione was studying plants without chlorophyll, the most mysterious plants I know (so-called 'Indian Pipes' or 'Ghost Plants' are eerily white, and bright red snow plants are common in the spring there). I can't really picture either Hermione or Severus tolerating the crowded valley floor, so I imagine they're heading off next to Tuolumne Meadows for a more secluded singing venue? Clearly, that song material speaks to both of them...

(Oh, and I loved the bit about bears ripping apart SUVs.)

Thank you! I'm certain Hermione was studying the mysterious plants, and just enjoying the dogwoods. My husband has large hands, and we have a photo of one of the flowers covering his entire hand. I'm certain they will explore that whole area together. :)
Faithless gingers? I'm sure he'll need help for that one! *grin*

There is such a long and historical list. Thanks!
Yosemite in the spring with Snape... sigh...Just watch out for the bears coming out of hibernation.
Response from blue artemis (Author of The Red-Head Blues)
Most definitely. As long as they weren't chewing on their food at night in the open, they should be fine.
Great story, but just a little nit-pick. The waterfalls at Yosemite are actually best in the spring and worst in the fall. The melting snow runoff makes them the strongest in the spring and some of them actually totally dry up by the fall. Other than that - good idea for a story.

This is true, and I've been there both in spring and fall, but I wanted her to have a reason to return. Consider it literary license. Thanks!
I like this. Ive been to Yosemite..its beautiful.I bet sev would write a great song about faithless gingers...be that Wealeys and not felines.... :O)
Response from blue artemis (Author of The Red-Head Blues)
Weasleys, Dumbledores, Evans, there are lots of faithless red-heads in his world. Many thanks!
Lovely! That song certainly needs to be written.

Well that's a pick up line if I ever heard one, LOL. What a beautiful setting for my favorite pair to commiserate. Nice story.

Reminds one of Spock in a romantic mood.

Hee! Never thought of that. Thanks!
Wonder where he would start with that one! :)

There are so many to choose from! Thanks!
Faithless gingers... Depending on how you look at it, that's yet another thing Severus and Hermione have in common.

Exactly! Thanks!
