Reviews for Runs in the Family
Oh, without doubt - there simply must be more... The exchange between them is wonderful.

Thank you for the review and the stars. I'm absolutely grinning! You've made me a happy writer. My face will no doubt ache like mad later when the cheek muscles finally relax, but who cares! I shall go and ponder a companion to this. Thanks again!
I imagine these two are going to get on well together. And I can imagine Albus will have plenty more questions for Snape.

Hello and thank you for the review :) Odd, but when I was writing it, I almost felt as though they were the means to sorting out a lot of.... issues. I felt as though they complemented each other. Maybe that is why I wrote Snape as agreeing to Albus' permission to visit again. Ermmm... can I admit that I was pretty vague about the plot? :S
Fantastic story, let me add my voice to the throng demanding a sequel! It stands on its own so well, yet there are plenty of unanswered questions and things left vague enough to warrant a continuation. The interaction between the two characters was lovely to read, and I know I'd enjoy more of it. Thanks for sharing this with us!

Oh, thank you for such a beautiful review. How can I resist? I'll get my head in gear and sort something out. Thank you again :D
VERY GOOD FIRST STORY. WELL WRITTEN, BUT YOU ARE SUCH A TEASE! SO MANY UNANSWERED QUESTIONS, JUST BEGGING TO BE ANSWERED. PLEASE, WE NEEEEDDDD A SEQUEL. JIMBO

Thank you so much for the review. I hadn't intended to be a tease... so sorry. I can't possibly leave you with so many questions, can I? :P I am so honoured to be asked for more. I shall work on another one-shot.
What a wonderful and original story! On the one hand it's a perfect stand alone and on the other hand it raises so many questions that a sequel would be lovely.Somehow I have the feeling Snape is not really a ghost, since neither he nor his clothing seem to be transparant. But if not, why should he stay in the shack for twenty years? Is there something odd going on that binds him to the shack? And if so, can Albus set him free? And was Albus' other reason to seek him out the fact that he is named after him and wanted to know more about the real man? But if so, can an 11-years old realize that this is his hidden motivation? So many questions..Sequel! Sequel! Sequel!

Hello. Thank you for the wonderful review! You've hit the nail on the head on your points here. I had intended this as a one-shot... a testing the waters, if you like. I'm finding the water to be lovely and inviting, so I'm tempted to paddle around for a bit. I do love these reviews...so many excellent ideas and plots. I must thank you for the inspiration. :D
Is he or isn't he? A ghost, I mean. Severus seems surprised to be addressed as one, so I would say he managed to survive somehow and keeps people away by using the reputation of the Shrieking Shack and maybe enhancing it somehow. ^_^

Hello Dear

. You're quite right! So glad that you enjoyed this. Also, I'm wondering if you're the lovely reviewer who left me a review on potter place archives? If so, I'd like to thank you. I was vacilliating on whether to upload here or not, and after some major prevaricating, decided to. I have indeed been thinking about another couple of one-shots to go with this: sort of mid-way through school and then one when Albus has graduated and had a few life's issues to contend with. Either way, I am so glad you enjoyed this :D Many thanks!

That would be me. *grin* I tend to hang out at here at TPP, Ashwinder, Lumos, and Potter Place and have stories archived at each one. ^_^
Very original and enjoyable story. I love that Albus is a Slytherin! I'm wondering if my impression that Snape is alive, not a ghost is correct. Thanks.

Hello and thank you for the lovely review. You are spot on! :D I'm so glad you enjoyed it.
Very interesting. Is he definitely a ghost? A sequel would be wonderful. Thanks for writing!

Thanks so much for the review and the shiny stars--lovely! I was sneaky with the writing, leaving the question hanging there and offering some clues. He's not a ghost, but Albus was so convinced of the death that he assumed him to be so. I think Snape was fairly happy with the boy's thinking. I'm feeling my arm being definitely twisted... Thanks again for the lovely review.
Very intriguing! This works well as a stand alone story, with a nice feeling of completion, but it also leaves me wanting to know more about Albus Severus and Snape! Nicely done!

Thanks for the lovely review. Maybe there will be another one-shot to go with this one. The reviews are very encouraging.
Hmmm. Very interesting. I approve! Any hope of a sequel?
Response from bwildered (Author of Runs in the Family)
Thank you so much for the review. I have been thinking about a sequel... perhaps when Albus knows the answer to the question. Thanks again.

Response from bwildered (Author of Runs in the Family)
Thank you for the review. Maybe Albus will set him free.
