This is how media and even just technical problems can kill your reputation.
Well, at least Snape is fearcful creatur enough to set things straight. and give the people resposible for that a good verbal beat up. poor fellow.

Poor Severus. lol Apparently the man's life is destined to be rife with headaches.

He really should know better by now, shouldn't he? :)
I'd much more willingly believe he'd poison the first years. By the time they've reached NEWT level they should be marginally tolerable

It really does. Once would think he hadn't attemped reform at all - when the fact that he collaborated with students on a textbook tells a different story ;)

I do wonder who her source is and just what students they were...
We can place bets on Rita setting the record as straight as Severus never dreamed it could get. If he thought he had trouble before, now Rita will show him what a journalist can do dispite all evidence.

Yes... although, it wouldn't surprise me if he did poison some of them at some point. Teeangers can be so annoying.
