Reviews for Truth Will Out
It's nice that Neville tries to undervalue himself and his friends had to imperio him for his actions to be rightfully aknowledged. It's a good change.

I adore Neville, but he is definitely the most don't-want-to-be-in-the-limelight character ever. I thought long and hard about how they were going to have to get him to admit his bravery and the Imperius seemed the only way. Thanks for reading & reviewing.
Poor Neville...

He'll have to own up to being a hero, now. And Luna can tell their children exactly what daddy did in the war.

Neville's my hero. Awwww.
As always do I love your stories:-))

Thank you. I thought that Ron would try to puff up his role and Neville would downplay his. It seemed to work well with the prompt.
Aw... It's good that they were able to make him tell the truth.

When you have two such disparate characters trying to embellish or diminish their roles in the last battle, strong measures must be used. But Lavender going to the Ministry to ask for permission was just too good a giggle to pass up.
Uh.... use of Imperio for this? Seems a bit extreme...
Response from kyriaofdelphi (Author of Truth Will Out)
When you consider the two it was used on, not really. Ron would definitely try to bolster his part and his ego. Neville would simply try to fade into the background. To keep both of them sticking to the facts, it was warranted.

But... its Imperio! It is controlling someone else like a PUPPET! If I were Neville or Ron, I would never trust any of them again.
I guess they can lower this curse from unforgivable, to sometimes forgivable, LOL. Still, it gets the job done. Of course Neville wouldn't be a braggart about his contribution to the war, but he deserves it as much as anyone else. Nice job.

I think everyone considered WHO it was going to be used on and decided that Ron would definitely try to overstate his role without it, and Neville would again try to understate his role.It was a different take that appealed to me.
I like this one quite a bit too.
Response from kyriaofdelphi (Author of Truth Will Out)
It was what I thought Neville would do, since he wasn't the publicity seeker that Ron was. Glad you liked it.
spiffy, unexpected take on the prompt!

I do try for the unusual, sometimes.
