enjoying the series

Thank you. I am having as much trouble getting this pair together as they must have had in their lives.
Cute ficlet. Would you mind removing the the 'Potions Under Duress' category, please? That cat is "Dedicated solely to the relationship between Severus Snape and Hermione Granger."
Response from Amita (Author of Redemption on the Installment Plan – V)
The rationale for this episode is that the person most successful in the last epoch will have the most trouble adapting to a new age, and in previous episodes, our heroine has evinced clinging and guilt. It could be handled with a single sentence: Hermione discovered Ron in the arms of Penny, but that presents Ron as a cad. It was more interesting to show him as someone who makes mistakes but has gained some sensitivity and may even be the mature one in the pair.Readers are now warned that it is not my intent to write a predictable sshg.

On the other hand, perhaps this category does exclude mentioning any other relationship - romance in a vacuum.

My point was only that this was not Snape/Granger, which is what the category 'Potions Under Duress' is for. If you mean to continue it with more chapters and expand into a relationship (romantic, adversarial, or platonic it doesn't matter) between Severus and Hermione then the fic is in the right cat but the complete tag is incorrect. If it's part of a wider series of work that includes a Snape/Granger relationship, then perhaps it would help to mention that so we can see that this part of a wider Snape/Granger work? I certainly have no problem with your writing, only finding non-Snape fic in a Snape category. Thanks for responding.

Apologies are due to all readers because of the botched format of this story. Unfortunately, each episode must be marked complete or eventually declared abandoned.
Penny pinching? *Snort*A peculiar pairing, but whatever works...
Response from Amita (Author of Redemption on the Installment Plan – V)
It was a challenge to present this pair as compatible.
"Penny pinching"? That was great! It seems that most everyone is trying to find their way in these stories, not just Severus; no journey is ever really taken alone, even if you don't realize it.

Thanks for a sympathetic review of a tale that is rambling (or multi-layered, if one is polite). Yes, the motivation for this episode is that all the characters are connected.
Hmmmmm...it's hard to tell which one is seeking redemption in this instance. Then again, perhaps they both are...maybe that's the whole point. The fact that Severus has been the focus of the previous stories has made it fairly clear that he's trying to use sex in order to gain something (although it's not clear exactly what it is, and I'm not certain that he knows what it is himself) -- but then again, it's possible that all his partners so far have been doing the same thing.

The focus is still Severus, but this detour was needed to free our heroine. It was a long detour to give a sympathetic treatment of Ron.
Ron's found his special someone, now if only Hermione could.
Response from Amita (Author of Redemption on the Installment Plan – V)
The author and story are struggling toward that.
Loved the pairing, first time I've read a Ron & Penny, and I liked that he has branched off from ermione, leaving her to go off and do her own things, visiting with Andromeda, and he his own interests--allowing the interest in Penny to be explored; there is a lovely naturalness in their coming together--lovely work!
Response from Amita (Author of Redemption on the Installment Plan – V)
The idea was to have Ron leave Hermione without him being a plod, clod, and cad. He has found another intelligent lady, but one with a more practical and playful side that lets him participate.
