Moody was always my favorite. I like the idea that he was tied to his task.

Very nicely done and a well-earned homage to Moody.And the following: "The pulse of life in Diagon Alley slowly bleeds unease from the very cobblestones of its existence until it lies whimpering under the false sun of pureblood supremacy." That there is just one amazing piece of prose. That line alone rates 5 stars.

How odd that I thought of him when I began reading, yet was suprised when he was named at the end.A lovely job. Well done.

Oh how clever.  To make people uneasy for their own benefit... enforcing vigilance for the enemy by increasing wariness of an unseen and unknown ally! 

Nicely written.  I love that Moody and his demands for constant vigilance were with them through the battle.  And now he is at peace.

I always liken Moody to an old soured Military man. They all have it in their blood. He just happens to have it after death, too.

Love this - he would be a restless soul, wouldn't he? And not at rest until the final spell was cast/deed done against the forces and downfall of Voldemort. Lovely, poetical prose and atmosphere captured!
