Oh, this is wonderful - the goblin response to a Black sister changing galleons, the way you set up Andromeda's persistence and denial (This is her third trip to London? 'Someone' told her there was good coffee there?), and Ted's clear reading of what she really wants. (And the crazy hair colour choice as a family trait! Love it!)

It's a lot of fun to see how wildly different some responses are to the same prompt... and perhaps even more amazing to see a few common threads emerge across stories. I wholeheartedly believe that the Black sisters have hundreds of untold stories within them, and I'm certainly glad to have read yours!

Your Ted sounds like a real catch. I was going to say that I hope that she doesn't let her family get in the way, but I guess we all know she doesn't :) Looks like the beginning of something special. Nice job.

Oh, how I love this pair. Ted is so attractive, for all that he's everything she's been taught not to like. There's a lesson in that for us all. I love how he's got her bang to rights and she's a bit of a klutz while trying to hide from the truth. Her daughter got the klutz thing from somewhere.

Not at all. I thought this was Rose's. I knew she had already written some Ted/Andromeda stuff and considered writing more.Any way it was great and I did love it. It reminded me of my time in London back in the 70s.
What a delightful way to give some backstory.

I love this story! Exactly how Andromeda Black ended up with Ted Tonks has always been one of my favorite plotlines.

I was thrilled about the non-SS/HG rule myself; so many new fics to read that are about other characters and pairings. Pure Heaven in my opinion.
