Reviews for The Coffee Crusade or How to Find the Perfect Man
Viktor saves the day! I wonder how long it will be before Ron even notices she is gone? :)
Response from kyriaofdelphi (Author of The Coffee Crusade or How to Find the Perfect Man)
Probably when Draco asks him if he didn't have a date and won't Hermione be ticked off.
Interesting twist: the search for a perfect cup leads someone else to a more satisfactory discovery--very clever.
Response from kyriaofdelphi (Author of The Coffee Crusade or How to Find the Perfect Man)
Ron forgot her in his quest, so she could move on to better things. The difference between Ron and Viktor is focus. Viktor has it, Ron doesn't.
Hoorah for Turkish coffee - Viktor knows best;-)! Lovely, fun banter & depiction - Viktor saves the day!
Response from kyriaofdelphi (Author of The Coffee Crusade or How to Find the Perfect Man)
He always takes advantage of his opponent's lack of concentration and swoops in to catch the prize. Man has his head on straight.
I can just imagine Viktor sipping a small, dark Turkish coffee.
Response from kyriaofdelphi (Author of The Coffee Crusade or How to Find the Perfect Man)
And isn't that a terribly sexy image?
Ron's a twit! :)
Response from kyriaofdelphi (Author of The Coffee Crusade or How to Find the Perfect Man)
Always has been. Will continue so.
She finally found a place for admiration of coffee.
Response from kyriaofdelphi (Author of The Coffee Crusade or How to Find the Perfect Man)
Actually, she found a refuge from those in pursuit of the 'perfect' cup of coffee. She found someone who admired her more than coffee. LOL.
Viktor would drink Turkish coffee and be set on it. He's steadfast. Lovely!
Response from kyriaofdelphi (Author of The Coffee Crusade or How to Find the Perfect Man)
Viktor was an adult long before he came for the Tournament. Solid, stable, decisive. He goes with what he knows.
That's a great way to get rid of suitors a girl doesn't want. I'm glad she found the suitor she did want, as well as a great coffee.
Response from kyriaofdelphi (Author of The Coffee Crusade or How to Find the Perfect Man)
There is a time in evey woman's life when she realizes that she has grown past the friends of her childhood and must make plans for her future.
I love seeing Viktor in stories. He is so clearly superior to Ron in a paternalistic kind of way.
Response from kyriaofdelphi (Author of The Coffee Crusade or How to Find the Perfect Man)
Well, Viktor did play professional Quidditch and Ron only played for the Gryffindor team. A world of difference, wouldn't you say?Hermione thought so.
Victor to the rescue!
Response from kyriaofdelphi (Author of The Coffee Crusade or How to Find the Perfect Man)
Always waiting for the right moment to swoop in and grab the Snitch or the fair maiden in this case.
"...now I feel honour bound to show you the old-world style of courting." Okay, but now your are author bound to show us just that!
Response from kyriaofdelphi (Author of The Coffee Crusade or How to Find the Perfect Man)
I think I may have to allow the reigning belle of VK/HG write it instead. I'll talk to her about it.
The man has tenacity, I'll give him that. Love this pair.
Response from kyriaofdelphi (Reviewer)
Of course you do. You write enough of the pairing.
This is just perfect! Makes one wonder if it's just Ron and Draco or did they form their own trio? Forget 'Veasley', Hermione's now got a real man with taste. And one who knows what he wants and doesn't feel the need to keep searching once he's found it. :)
Response from kyriaofdelphi (Author of The Coffee Crusade or How to Find the Perfect Man)
Single-mindedness is just one of Krum's strong points.
Ron and Draco? Not a pairing I usually think of, but the comedic possibilities. Hermione definitely got the better end of this. Well-done!
Response from kyriaofdelphi (Author of The Coffee Crusade or How to Find the Perfect Man)
Throw Snape into the mix and you have possibilities for real slapstick. Viktor kept his priorities straight and didn't get sidetracked.
Hahaha! Hermione got the perfect man and the perfect cup of coffee, all in spite of Ron! I'm suprised all the guys didn't have a "who's got the biggest cup" competition whilst they were at it!
Response from kyriaofdelphi (Author of The Coffee Crusade or How to Find the Perfect Man)
Priorities were always Viktor's strong point.
This is lovely!

A man who knows what is important and what is superficial is rarer than unicorns.
Absolutely loved it!
Response from kyriaofdelphi (Author of The Coffee Crusade or How to Find the Perfect Man)
A real man knows what is and isn't important.
