Wonderful
This is such a lovely story. I'm glad his dream finally came true.
Wow, I never knew you had to think about commas! :) This was truly lovely! I loved Severus' mental dialogue throughout. And Hermione's clever, Slytherin-like seduction. Gryffindors? Really?
Response from karelia (Author of So Cold the Night)
Oh, I do. Commas are the heroes and heroines of my dreams. :PThank you so much! Yah, those Gryffindors have hidden traits.
:) That just kind of makes me happy. I love it when they're both scheming a little.

Very nice, I can see Sev at the window so clearly.

Thank you! I was hoping for easy visualisation.
Watching her every single move was exquisite. Being separated by an entire world was agony.I love that line! That was a bold move she made. Thank goodness she is a Gryffindor, or they might still just be staring longingly at each other. The cold nights were forgotten, indeed. Lovely.

Thank you! *bows*Well, I guess she doesn't like to mess about for too long once she realises something. :P
This is beautiful! I love how well you capture Severus's longing.

Thanks so much, Dreamy! Glad you liked it. :D
Love the delectable dance and magnetic build from the first scene to the last; lovely portrayal of Severus' loneliness, longing and wishing, and her delicate but effective coming to him... lovely, lovely work!

I love it, karelia. Your words captured his sad longing and the perpetual cold of his lonely life. Hemione's manipulation of the situation was superb. The beautiful, fulfilling ending is really their beginning. Brava!

Thanks so much, Tales! I'm glad you like it!
So beautiful! I love what you've done in this small format, though the plot would surely have worked for something longer as well. The fragments are beatifully written, capturing the feelings of each character so well. Love it!
Response from karelia (Author of So Cold the Night)
Thank you for your kind words!Yes, it could have worked for something longer, but the song invited the fragments, I found. :)
I really loved this. I love how slow things moved and the tenderness of it all.

Thank you! Glad you liked it!
Well, a Gryffindor exhibits Slytherin tendencies. Nicely constructed story.
Response from karelia (Author of So Cold the Night)
I think Gryffindors are underrated. Just because they have a reputation of getting head over heels into trouble doesn't mean they can be sneaky at times. :)Thanks for your kind words!
Just as amazing as always! It's so poignant!!!!!!!! And you have to love a woman who goes after what she wants. Thanks for sharing it, Karelia!
Response from karelia (Author of So Cold the Night)
Thank you so much for your kind words!
Lovely, k! It fits the images from the music video quite nicely, and I like the way you wrote Severus' longing and Hermione's plotting to ensnare his senses. :)
Response from karelia (Author of So Cold the Night)
Thank you. Once I heard the song, it just fell into place all by itself. :)
That. Is a delicious little bit. You never disappoint.
