Brilliant, both of them.
Response from mreid (Author of Love Letters)
Thank you. Happy you enjoyed them. I will post more if/when I write them.
Oh, that's funny. And of course that mother-in-law, jealous over even her son's affection, will make those nasty calls. This is delicious. You could probably publish something like this.

I never understood Aphrodite's appeal. Poor Hephaestus.Yes, well, technically these are published.
*applause* This is probably my favorite mythical pairing, and you have more than done it justice. I love the way you have brought them into a modern frame and encapsulated what time has done for them. Very clever.

Thank you. I do hope to write more, but I have yet to do so. When I do, I will add them here. Thank you for your lovely comments, as usual.

Thanks. The next chapter, featuring a different couple, is in the queue. While it is not as funny, I do like the myth. Thank you for commenting, by the way. I love feedback.
What an amusing way to look at the question of how such characters deal with their day to day life. Quite fun!

Thank you. That is exactly what I had in mind. And thank you for commenting--much appreciated.
Ah, very clever play on the familiar myth. I love her very matter-of-fact "I will be visiting my mother for the rest of the year." And at least he's making an effort. Quite memorable.

It was written for a prompt. I was feeling rather War of the Roses. And thank you for the lovely comment.
