I picked up the Harry Potter fandom around the time the first movie came out and began writing fanfic early 2005 after discovering the adult online community. I identify most closely with the Slytherins and you will see my taste in writing lends me to writing about Slytherins more often than not. In addition to fanfiction, I also make fanvids on the Harry Potter fandom. I'm a Perfect Imagination acredited beta and am willing to help authors. My main 'ship interests are Snape/OC (never really got into the SS/HG pairing) and LM/any female (with HG as a new favorite). I have dabbled in RL/OC and RL/NT and am okay with those pairings. Thanks, SW. I wrote this right after I finished the book. I tried to think what might have been going through his mind at that time. And I'm convinced that he is not a loyal Death Eater, so this fit all those circumstances for me.As for finding redemption, I consider Wounded and continuation of his life from this point, though I don't fill in all the holes.I hope to have a fic up in a few days (it was a festival entry on Sycophant Hex) that leads up to this one. Nothing like chronology out of whack, is there? LOLsouthern_witch_69's response: LOL... Uhhuh. Was that a DeathDay Fic? I never saw any of those posted!southern_witch_69's response: Oh, and I confess that I've not yet read wounded. It's a Snape/ OFC? I usually don't read those. I am not sure why I've not started reading it if that's not it. Hmmm... I know I started with Redemption because of the queue. Gonna give it a look.

This one isn't a Deathday fic. I have another one that is that I've been itching to post. Word is that they will start being posted this week. That one, Outsider, takes place before this one. :)

As for the question on Wounded, yes it is an OC fic, though that one was written as part of a non-Romantic challenge. Not sure if that would change your mind or not. The OC fics are very hit and miss and I've gotten to the point if it says "Snape and the new DADA Professor..." I never get any further than that. LOL

. I really hope so, too. I actually wrote this one within hours of finishing the book, but only realized I hadn't posted it when I sort of reference the events in another story.
