I always feel extremely strange when I'm writing these things, having never really been all that good at talking about myself. In any case, here are the basics: I'm a 41-year-old Canadian who started reading the Harry Potter books about twenty years (!) ago just to see what all the fuss was about. I wrote my first fanfic about a year later, and I've been semi-active in the fandom ever since. I am very musical; I play the bagpipes, I've played the violin since I was about nine years old and I sing with two choirs (a community choir I've been singing with since 1997 and a church choir I've been singing with since late 2008). Writing is also one of my many obsessions, and (much to my relief) the monstrous case of writer's block which grabbed me for a couple of years seems to be gradually letting go. Even so, should I submit any chaptered fics here, it's reasonable to assume that the updates will be pretty far apart even if they're actually finished before I start posting. It's not intentional; I'm just, at times, a little forgetful.

A very smart and funny story.
*Favorite!* Oh, that was soooo good! I loved when Draco related to Lucius that Narcissa thought he looked like a flasher! I imagine him standing there trying to push the hair out of his face while holding onto his robes and cane all at the same time. I also loved the banter about Severus smelling like Sulfur! And the two separate issues with naughty bits of Voldy's falling off and Hermione grabbing Severus' to apparate out. Speaking of Voldy's - his Dark Lord School sounded like something out of Austin Powers! Oh, this is bound to become a classic satire!

Thanks. Though I should probably point out that Hermione didn't actually grab Severus' naughty bits when she Apparated them out; I only meant to temporarily imply that she did before revealing that she actually grabbed his nose. I will admit, however, that when I write Voldemort in a humour setting, I frequently take some inspiration from Dr. Evil, even if Nagini is considerably more evil than Mr. Bigglesworth.

Ah, now I see about the nose "thingy"! I guess I was so shocked before that I just wanted it to be...much...lower!
Hi! Glad to see that you are still there and writing I enjoyed the story very much and once more I was impressed by your knowledge of my language, I mean of course Italian (though Lord Fiammalocchio gives more the idea of an irritated eye, un occhio infiammato, se capisci cosa voglio dire).Anywya, nice, funny and "scoppiettante". Good job!Un abbraccione dall'Italia.

Grazie mille, Mep! Sorry for the lateness of this response; I saw your review the day you posted it, but I didn't have time to reply then and I kept forgetting until now.So "Fiammalocchio" sounds more like an irritated or inflamed eye? Somehow that makes the name even funnier to me. And it's nice to know that it does make a bit of sense somehow, anyway. I'm very glad that you enjoyed the fic, by the way.

Glad you liked it.
There may not be crossovers, but I thought this was very lewis carroll meets harry potter. =)Quite fun.

; I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Hahaha! What an original and bizarre concept. Leave it to Molly Weasley ... "No, Father, that's not right. What you always say is, 'Draco, when it comes down to it, we've got a lot of money and the Weasleys don't, so that makes us better Pure-bloods than they are.' Narcissa and I enjoyed a bit more of it after you left." Draco snorted. "I could hear you two 'enjoying' it clear across the Manor," he grumbled. Kids are so observant everytime you don't want them to be. Good to know that is true in the wizarding world, too :)What did happen when he got too close to the peacock? I thought the current speculation was that it happened with the creation of the fourth horcrux ;)
Response from Pennfana (Author of A Most Unusual Tea Party)
Let's just say that Voldie couldn't sit down properly for a couple of weeks due to a number of inconveniently-placed bites and scratches. Most peafowl don't normally tend to be that aggressive, though apparently some breeds are more aggressive than others; I guess these ones just don't like him.Glad you liked the fic.
Hee. Molly could just end the war herself, given half a chance.
Response from Pennfana (Author of A Most Unusual Tea Party)
Indeed. Her overprotectiveness tends to annoy me, but she really is a formidable woman. Thanks for reviewing.
Very amusing. I enjoyed it greatly! :)

I'm glad you liked it, then. Thanks for reviewing.
A clever bit - the only thing missing was the Mad Hatter and HIS entourage, but as you said, no crossovers allowed here.

Thanks.
That was funny, thank you!

You're very welcome. I'm glad you liked it.
Hilarious, Penn. You wouldn't consider another one, by any chance? :)
Response from Pennfana (Author of A Most Unusual Tea Party)
List a few things you'd like to see in it, and I'll give it a shot. Glad you enjoyed this; I'm always a bit nervous when I post a humour piece, even though it's what I'm best at—it's sometimes difficult to judge what'll make people laugh, so it's always nice to hear I've been successful. Thanks for reviewing.

They liked it so much they surreptitiously meet once a week for ceasefire and tea and discuss posh stuff like art and music and suchlike. Hermione dresses up Voldie and takes him to a concert, 'cos he couldn't possibly admit to his DE's he wanted to listen to the London Symphony Orchestra. They'd have a collective conniption! :)
Response from Pennfana (Author of A Most Unusual Tea Party)
Got it. The wheels are already turning.
