That was just...perfect. I love this exploration of the two and the manner in which you wrote about Augusta. You captured this flitting depth of emotion so well and it is a joy to read femslash with older women.

Thank you so much! I love older-woman femslash myself, and I'm pleased to meet another fan.
Oh, this is lovely. And just the right sort of treat for a February afternoon- sad but sweet. I do love a good femslash, and these two... their long history and the weight of their many responsibilities comes through as a certain softness, or an emotion. I'm afraid I'm not articulating well, but I liked it, and I wish I could read it a thousand times, and every time have it be new.

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed them. They seem like an unlikely couple at first, but as you say, there's such a long history. . .it was fun to explore it.~~Kelly
This is a lovely telling about love, friendship and support over the years.

Thank you! They're both so crusty outside, but I think the layers inside are quite complex. ~~Kelly
What a remarkable tale.

Thank you for reading! ~~Kelly
Mmnn... love this - always knew there was a past history between Augusta and Minerva;D - love your poignant depictions of turning points, losses & events in both of their lives through the years, as well as their needs - lovely work!
Response from kellychambliss (Author of Brazen)
Thanks! The two of them together have intrigued me ever since that canon moment in HBP when Minerva says, "I'll send Augusta a note." You just know there's some sort of past there. ~~Kelly
I've always admired your ability to evoke the sensual and erotic - and the reality - of bodies, minds, and hearts no longer young but still quite beautiful in their way.
Response from kellychambliss (Author of Brazen)
Thank you! That's just what I hope to show -- the beauty of no-longer-young.
I love getting to know some of the secondary characters like Augusta. And I always see these two as strong women who can take care of themselves, not really needing anyone, so when they indulge themselves in companionship, comfort, and pleasure it makes me happy.

So glad you enjoyed it! I think the two of them have really strong personalites, so there would be a lot of sparks, one way or another. Thanks for commenting.
Wonderful as ever. I love Minerva and you write her so well. Thanks!
