Snape fancier, wanton researcher of the arcane and sublime, and snark mistress.
Blanket disclaimer: the Potterverse was created by J.K. Rowling -- I just like to play with her toys.

Thank you very much! :)
Very nicely done, catching both his sadness & guilt, and at last redemption

Thank you very much -- his redemption is never far from my mind, when I write. <3
Ah, wonderful. Very fitting.
Response from juniperus (Author of The End to 'Always,' Evermore.)
Thank you so much. :) I think Poe would have grokked Snape.
So sad. You write beautifully.
Response from juniperus (Author of The End to 'Always,' Evermore.)
Thank you very, very much. I have found Poe inspirational when it came to setting the mental scene for many other stories, so couldn't resist this homage.
Bitter, snarky, biting - and then, like the redemption so granted, gentle and forgiving. Brilliant! Poe is smiling.
Response from juniperus (Author of The End to 'Always,' Evermore.)
Thank you! I like the idea that Poe would smile... certainly Snape's story would ring familiar and fit Ulalume or To Octavia perfectly.
Wow... such pictures that come through the mind. So many of the "what ifs" and "if onlys" of his life, so much anger and frustration, and then that last "never more" comes like a cleansing wind.
Response from juniperus (Author of The End to 'Always,' Evermore.)
I'm honored that his moves you so, and I'm very glad the last line was cleansing, for you -- that was my intention, and it makes me happy that it worked. Thank you.
Very cleverly done. Love the 'bugger' in the middle. :)

Thank you very much! :) (sticking the 'bugger' in there made me giggle madly)
