Reviews for Under the Bodhi Tree
How many times do we get to reflect on our life, snd get the chance to go back to it with the inspiration to make a difference. Well written, and it has stirred me to try not to do 'just fine'. but to try to do more.

I tell you, this really was a dream I had, though the setting was different. So I wanted to write it down! I don't know if it came off as too preachy, but I hope not. When I opened my eyes the next morning, I was all like "Aw, man! I'm still here, with dishes in the sink and stuff?" I don't know what I had thought would happen, but I've been trying to make it count. Thanks for reading!
Love your poetic way with words. But. woman, you made me look stuff up while I was supposed to working! :D

If I got you to slack during work time, then clearly my work here is done. Mission accomplished! *is gleeful* :D
Is this a near-death experience or mid-life crisis? Either way, it's lovely and I think Mara made the right choice.

I wrote it to be rather open-ended so that the reader could put their own interpretation of events into the reading of it. I'm glad you liked it, and thank you so much for giving it a chance!
Oooh, this was good. If only every single person could have such an experience, we would all be better people. She did fine – they loved her and she loved them – but suddenly fine wasn't enough. She wished she would have done more, been more. She did regret that.Stolen straight from my diary if I had one. I totally get this. I do hope that she embraced the experience and when her time finally comes she can answer no to the question of regret. As always, nice work.

Thank you! This was actually one that I was raher fond of, but it bombed in the polls (isn't that that way it goes for you?). But what interested me was that I got quite a few comments, and everyone had a different odea about what the story meant. The part you chose to comment on was a part no one else had yet mentioned. Interesting. I'll tell you something else: this was a real dream that I had. I changed some of the details, like the setting and the person, but I kept the feel and the idea of it. It was as close as I could get to putting it down exactly as I experienced it. Anyway, I know this is a little off the beaten path for reading material, so I thank you for chancing it. You are always willing to read whatever junk I might write, and I am so grateful for that!
