Wow, neat premise! I have never read the like. It's a very interesting twist to make Rabastan a victim/good guy. I love the Crookshanks connections... he must have loved his Human very much. The power thing about a woman's first time... the reputation part (and how it adversely affected Ginny, and how Harry wouldn't have known about it, and how Hermione's status is elevated among the Malfoys) both very interesting. Thanks for a great read!

Thank you for telling me what you like. I will have a few more stories coming up here, and some play with that theme of the power of a first time and what happens. I just have to wait for the queue. They are all up already at Granger Enchanted if you read there. I do tend to write one-shots, so sometimes people think they are rushed. I am working on that.

I like the idea of Crookshanks' spirit continuing to watch over Hermione after he dies. He can also pass on important information to his kitten so she can keep up his good work!
