Oh my gods...breathtaking and brilliant... never underestimate a house-elf; what a fitting 'end' for Karkaroff... Winky always struck me as twisted in her painful turmoil - how could she not be int the Crouch household? Thanks for this -

Thank you so much, dear! That is such fantastic praise to get.No, you never should, and that is particularly true for Winky I think. She never struck me as well balanced and in my mind Karkaroff always died by Winkys hand rather than by soem random death-eater.
WOW!!! Winky certainly would learn a lot from living with Young Master and seeing his Death Eater friends. I suspect Wnky could do a lot of things without a wand, too. I like her fierceness and loyalty to her family. Thanks for writing this!
