Viktor, the victorious. I have this mental image of a broom bouncing along on the backs of a horde of spiders and their struggles with the uneven ground - a comic rescue scene.

I had cancer surgery the middle of October and still am not completely back from that. Then the day before I went to London for the premiere I got food poisoning. Didn't do a lot in London except see family and a bit of shopping. The premiere was rainy, cold and awful so we left early. Thanks for reading & reviewing.

I am getting much better at seeing things slightly skewed from canon. You really can tweak things to fit a different scenario. Your help and encouragement is worth millions to me. Thanks so much.
This is a slightly different Hermione, who communes with the spiders. It also gives a much better reason for her incompatability with Ron. It would be great to see how that developed.I like the flow of this through the eyes of someone different. It's good to see the other sorts of things that happened that night.
