This is fun. I quite like the idea of Snape and Narcissa together. This would be exactly how it would happen, too.

Author's Response: Thanks! I really like the idea of them, as well. Something about their circumstances at this time tells me that they would be drawn to each other, although it would cause them some guilt and angst.

Aw, thank you, dear! *blushes* I do love Narcissa and Snape together, but in this case, I think she would have to do some serious rationalising to make it work in her head.

Narcissa/Snape is a perfect pairing for plenty of angst, and this delivers perfectly. I especially like the last drabble; how Slytherin of her to rationalize it to herself and explain why she keeps going back. Lovely!-Dex

Darling, thank you! The angst of this pairing gets me every time, particularly in the HBP timeframe. All the stress and tumult of that year without Lucius must have taken its toll on Narcissa, but I'm sure that if she looked outside her marriage for comfort she would feel quite guilty about it. So this is the result. I'm very happy to know you found it a worthwhile read.
