Reviews for His Eulogy, Her Goodbye
It took me time to read this because I wasn't in the mood or reading about Severus' funeral. What she said was beautiful. Especially what she did not say. I hope she'll learn to cope with his absence. But I doubt anyone so fond of him could ever manage to live away from him for long.

I'm glad you waited to read until you were ready; I understand this was a heavy subject to tackle, but I'm glad you gave it a read eventually. I liked this one, and no one has looked at it much! So I thank you for that. I've been doing a lot of Snarry drabbles for the LDWS that I haven't posted here, so it was good to do something a little longer and more serious. At any rate, I thank you for giving it a shot!
This is wonderful and holds up well even for a second read. I don't read a lot of these two together, but when I do I like their dynamic. It just occurred to me that what I think I like about them, is that when she is paired with anyone else, she is the one who is harsh, or stern, or ... I don't know what other adjectives to use. But when she is paired with Severus, she becomes the softer one of the pair and it is a side of her that I like to see. You have captured that wonderfully. It must have been difficult for her to give his eulogy, but it seems there was noone better fit for the job.

Aw, you didn't have to read this again! It was nice to see a review for it, though. It hasn't been very popular, and I have to admit that I rather liked it. An example of the writer's opinion making not a bit of difference in the populairty of something!I have to clean the house (omg, tornado come through? How do you balance it all?) and then you are getting your long-awaited note. Hang in there!
I'm quite glad I've read this at home and not at work - my co-workers would think I'd gone daft cause I'm weeping a tear or two I love stories of the intricate relationship between these two amazing people. Beautifully done. Oh, and I'm glad to see this story indicates that Severus survivied and had a later life that was worthy of him.

I love to hear I've made my readers cry! (um, does that sound really bad?) It means I've done it right, and managed to get all the emotion across. Thanks so much for sharing that, and for taking the time to read this and comment. It hasn't gotten a lot of attention, but I am glad to hear that you enjoyed it and felt it was well done. Thanks so much for sending your thoughts about it!
Beautifully done, Kep. :)

Thank you; I am very honored that you think so. They are two of the best, and I am pleased that you think I did them well. Thanks so much for reading and sending your thoughts!
That was beautiful. It choked me up. I can easily see the two of them as the closest and dearest of friends. And more with a little stretch of the imagination. If older men can go for younger women, why not the other way around? I'm sure he had long passed worrying about things like age and exterior beauty.I liked the flash-backs. Well done.

I am so glad to hear that you enjoyed this! It was my first MG/SS, and I was worried about writing them together in a believable way and still stay true to the characters. Thanks so much for your lovely comments, they really gave me a lot of confidence about this one!
