Yes, a bit though sometimes Narcissa and Molly are more alike than each one wants to admit :)
Oh, hooray! I love the idea that Narcissa would learn crocheting. Of course I picture her as a lace-weight alpaca/silk blend shawl knitter; nothing but the best for a Malfoy, right? But we all have to start somewhere... maybe she's got a lumpy scarf stashed away somewhere in the Manor. It's sweet, and humbling for a Malfoy to need help from a Weasley. 'Cause there's always more to learn...

Different, but good.It may not be proper to mention this in fan-fiction, but 'Harmonic Resolution' by karelia has similar scenes with Hermione and Narcissa.
