Well, I would say that Ollivander learned that lesson the, um ... hard way? *giggles* No one said he was the brightest wand-maker of the age, just that he was good with his wood, you know. I'll bet he doesn't do it again, though! ;)

So if the wand chooses the wizard, do you think that particular wand is regretting it's decision? Maybe I was supposed to be horrified by the activities of this lonely shopkeeper, but all I could do was laugh at his misfortune. This was really funny (well for everyone but Ollivander). Do you suppose when he says Vibrato, the wand starts to shake because the spell really works, or because it knows what is coming next?Still, Kudos to Ollivander for turning lemons to lemonade. The way a man smells is very important. And, he was not daunted by this one mishap. He is already making plans for what he will do the next time he buys adult products. Way to stay positive, buddy! He would be a good role model for young witches and wizards everywhere. I can see the advertisement now:Congrats on turning eleven! Come on down to Ollivander's where the friendly shopkeeper will personally take you in the back room and show you his wand.I'm with the other reviewers, this demands a sequel! Or a prequel. What did happen the time he was almost caught? Wait, I'm the only one asking for a sequel? *Hides face* I am so embarrassed!Thanks for the laugh, and allowing me to leave a review that might well have more words than the story iteself, LOL.

OMG, I'm dying laughing. If only we could go back in time, because I would give a million bucks to be able to tell you, when we first met, that you'd be clamoring for a sequel to a story like this:"Hello, Holly, I'm from your future. And even though you THINK you like vanilla HP romance now, just wait. In a few short months, you are going to be begging for a continuation for a story about old-man-object-insertion-masturbation stories that go awry. Yes, it's true." HAHAHAHA! I tell you, it would be priceless!And here is my prediction: The course of your own writing may well follow the same course. YES! It just may! Wait and see, you'll start with fluff, but then you'll wonder about what it would be like if Millicent Bulstrode were involved, or if there were an errant Madrake root somehow ... time shall prove me right, you wait and see! *dies laughing*
Silly old bugger got what he deserved. Fancy thinking one of Fred and George's creations would be that simple! :D
