I always feel extremely strange when I'm writing these things, having never really been all that good at talking about myself. In any case, here are the basics: I'm a 41-year-old Canadian who started reading the Harry Potter books about twenty years (!) ago just to see what all the fuss was about. I wrote my first fanfic about a year later, and I've been semi-active in the fandom ever since. I am very musical; I play the bagpipes, I've played the violin since I was about nine years old and I sing with two choirs (a community choir I've been singing with since 1997 and a church choir I've been singing with since late 2008). Writing is also one of my many obsessions, and (much to my relief) the monstrous case of writer's block which grabbed me for a couple of years seems to be gradually letting go. Even so, should I submit any chaptered fics here, it's reasonable to assume that the updates will be pretty far apart even if they're actually finished before I start posting. It's not intentional; I'm just, at times, a little forgetful.

Bwah ha ha ha ha!

My favourite reaction to something that's meant to be funny.
Brilliantly hilarious and wicked good fun, well done, Penn! Great job with the prompts as well. BTW, I have to admit I remember the Joe Dolce song from when I was a bitty kid.

Thanks, Muse! Your prompts always seem to bring out the weirdest in me.
Loved the eclectic mix of songs. Regrettably, I recognise most of them. Please tell me he reactivated the telegram and sent it back to George and Luna - as a thank you gift.
Response from Pennfana (Author of Telegram For Professor Snape!)
Oh, he did better than that—he kept his own to study it, purchased another two and sent one to each of them. George's followed him around for a week because it amused him to see what it would say to the customers at the shop. Molly made him deactivate it, though, when it quoted Tenacious D's "Fuck Her Gently" when he went to the Burrow for dinner one evening. Luna's wasn't as obscene, but even her considerable patience was tried by the way it kept whistling the extended version of the theme to "The X-Files" every time she mentioned conspiracies or strange creatures. Given the frequency with which she talks about both, that was more or less constantly.Glad you enjoyed the fic.
Hilarious, Penn! :)

Thanks, Penny!
Oh god, I'd ask where you found such obscene little songs, but I'm almost afraid to find out... Very funny, though, and as a student of Italiano 101, I am equally baffled by the Tissue Soldier. Maybe the Italians are just really serious about their teepee?
Response from Pennfana (Author of Telegram For Professor Snape!)
I don't find those songs—those songs find me. At one point in my life, I was a piper in a bagpipe and drum band, and most of the guys (for years I was the only woman) had very...erm...interesting senses of humour. Believe me, this doesn't even scratch the surface of my collection of obscene, silly and just plain weird songs. Thanks for reviewing.
*speechless because Im too busy laughing*

Precisely the reaction I was hoping for.
That was very funny! About half way through I began to suspect the Weasley twins but Luna was a surprise. Nice job.

Thanks.
All that Italian music and *not one* from Eros Ramazzotti? Or Andrea Boccelli? Horror of horrors! ;)I love how they got progressively more obscene. :p
Response from Pennfana (Author of Telegram For Professor Snape!)
I tried to work in some of their music, but it didn't work; this fic is humongous (by my standards, anyway) as it is, and I have a sneaking suspicion that I like Boccelli and Ramazzotti too much to include anything they've ever produced in the same fic that includes quotations from Adam Sandler and The Lonely Island. :p
Oh, I'm in pain. That's simply funny beyond. The George/Luna pairing is a delightful thought.
Response from Pennfana (Author of Telegram For Professor Snape!)
Er, sorry, Rose. Glad you liked it, though!
