Reviews for The Crucible of Cruelty
I think he would have had a better life if he'd never met her. She hurt him so much and for so long.
Response from Keppiehed (Author of The Crucible of Cruelty)
I tend to think that he's the kind of guy who would always have held an ideal close to his heart. So if not her, someone else. And if not someone else ... then he might have been REALLY dark. Although I personally couldn't stand her. Yuck! I'll save you, Snape! *runs to him*
Response from snitchette (Reviewer)
*runs past youy and pushes you in the bushes* Hold on Sev'! I'm coming to help and love and care for you!
Response from Keppiehed (Author of The Crucible of Cruelty)
*fights you for him* wait! Maybe he's the kind of guy who would share? *grins*
Response from snitchette (Reviewer)
Fair enough *wink*
This is the quintessence of Snape, really. I suppose that is why we always throw him into stories of humor or romance, to lighten the load a little. Poor guy. :(
Response from Keppiehed (Author of The Crucible of Cruelty)
I know, he has it rough. Don't worry; there is some Harry-lovin' comin' your way! LOL! <3
Response from HBAR (Reviewer)
I loves me some Harry-lovin' *is gleeful that you aren't writing hairy-lovin'* :)
Response from Keppiehed (Author of The Crucible of Cruelty)
And who says I'm not? After Buckbeak, you'd think anything was on the table. ROFL!
You managed to say quite a lot in a few words. Good work!
Response from Keppiehed (Author of The Crucible of Cruelty)
Thanks very much. I am wondering how much more depth of angst we can mine here in the SnapeLDWS. It's getting down to the wire, and a good thing, too. I think we have covered just about every source of his unhappiness in drabble form. *laughs* Thanks so much for reading!
Another good one.Hehe. I ran out of angst before you did. *goes off looking for jolly old squiddie*
Response from Keppiehed (Author of The Crucible of Cruelty)
Thank you. I am coming to the end of my angst-capacity, which is rather amazing. Sadly, the mini-fest is going to get the fallout for that, in a rather cracktastic tale about fruitcake that involves Lord Voldemort. This is what happens, you know? Except those cheery Yuletime fest goers don't deserve that, so I am afraid for us all.
Response from sunny33 (Reviewer)
I thought Voldie was the fruitcake. :P
Response from Keppiehed (Author of The Crucible of Cruelty)
Oooh, she's so clever! *laughs* Okay, in this case there are TWO fruitcakes. DAMN! If only I'd thought of that before I'd submitted it: A Tale of Two Fruitcakes sounds so much better!

That was pretty sad, but well written. Geez, girl! You can't be stopped!
Author's Response: I am nearly to the semifinals. *whew* I can't believe they didn't vote me out for this purple prose. I don't know that it deserved to stay! *laughs* And I am getting to the end of what I can possible say about Snape and all of his angst! Thank goodness the Snarry LDWS has started, so the flavor of my drabbles will be slash ... you can groan and I can smile!
So powerful for such a short piece. Very perceptive too: I can imagine Snape thinking exacly like that.
Response from Keppiehed (Author of The Crucible of Cruelty)
Thank you so very much for your kind review! I don't ever feel that my strength lies in drabbles, so I always appreciate when someone likes them. Thanks so much for reading!
