Reviews for Fast Falls the Eventide
That was very poignant, and the amount of research you did very impressive. keep up the good work! :)

I was going through a bit of writer's block, and this one helped melt it a little. A good bit of research always gets my wheels turning, I think. Thanks for wading through all those details! (I never know what to say in the summary--who wants to read about a mining disaster? Blech! So you get kudos for sticking with it)
How very tragic! Much to my dismay, I could actually feel what it was like to be trapped there right along side them. Congrats on your win. It was much deserved. Now please, go out and get your fluff on. I need a break from the emotional intensity.

Can you believe it actually was that poor guy's first day? I did a ton of research and went through the archives, so I know about them. WOW! I'm glad you liked it; I hope I didn't win because of the sad subject matter, but because of the writing. I thought it was a little bit melodramatic, but I was just starting to get my mojo back. And fluff? I have something about Ollivander in the works, but I don't know if fluff is the right word ... *grins* After you read that, I think you might be asking for a serious Snape drabble! LOL!
Response from HBAR (Reviewer)
Oh dear! Does Ollivander do something inappropriate with his wand? *giggles and looks forward to whatever is up next*

OMG, I am getting too predicatable, I see. *sighs* Yes, he does. Of course. And hijinks ensue. The Weasley twins are also involved. I see I need to kick it up a notch to stay ahead of you!

You know, this is one of the most tragic yet beautiful stories you have ever written. Very moving, deep and evocative.
Author's Response: Thank you, Edge! I just got a review and someone didn't like it, so you never know! Can't ever get too cocky, you know? LOL! That's why I'll take your reviews and squish you! Thank you very much. *squishes you*
I would say how deeply this touched me, but I'm speechless.

I am thrilled to hear it! It is good to know that I am able to produce work that can have that effect on you. Thanks so much for telling me! I am so humbled by your response.
