Reviews for Balance of Power
Gah! It seems that in the end Narcissa has the most power of the three, enough, at least, to keep Severus from obtaining his heart's desire.

Poor Snape can't seem to cut a break! :) Thanks so much for reading!

Nothing better than reading some delicious Snucius on the way home from work. I like the tension between the two, the longing, the anger, the regrets. Well done!

Oh, thank you so much. This was an older one; it's great to see that you found it. I really appreciate that you took the time to check it out! :)

Wow! Such intensity between the two. I could almost taste his regret after sensing their shared passion.

I was unconvinced about Snucius, as I've never written it before, so I am glad it read okay. Thanks so much for always taking the time to send your thoughts!

I tried for myself to write a few things and I remember what a joy it is to receive a little word. It's a the least I can do to repay the author for such good reading material.
Response from Keppiehed (Author of Balance of Power)
Oh, man! I have to go check out your stuff! Once I started writing and editing I stopped reading. Have to remedy that!
Response from snitchette (Reviewer)
I didn't say that for you to look at it. It's probably not worth the read.
*whew* The best bit, much fun as verbal wrangling and sex may be, was the after with Narcissa. That feeling of walking into a room and realizing that there's a hell of a lot more going on than a conversation was expressed really well. And the stilettos... it's a sound I'll always associate with teachers walking down elementary-school hallways, but I suppose Malfoys have a different set of associations.
Response from Keppiehed (Author of Balance of Power)
I've never written any of these people together in a story, and the recipient asked for all three, and to be kind about Narcissa, which I was really sweating about. So I am particularly pleased that it all came through as authentic. And I'm with you about teachers and their shoes, but you know those Malfoys are a cut above in everything, even memories! ;) Thanks so much for taking the time to read it!
So Lucius reciprocated? Oh, so nice...Really wonderful dynamics capturing Lucius switching from business to pleasure regarding Sev. Poor Severus... at least his instincts were affirmed on some level regarding Lucius; so sad he's left yearning for the unattainable/unreachable...as always.

*glows* Yuo are giving me a swelled head, and I am enjoying every minute of it. Thanks so much; this is not a pair I've written before, so I didn't think I had pulled it off well. And poor Snape... I'm really putting him through the wringer this month! Thanks so much for reading, I am really coming to look forward to your lovely reviews!
I hope you don't mind, but I went ahead and apologized to Severus on your behalf for sticking him with that jerk. He won't ever belong in their world and if you ask me, why would he want to when there are so many better choices out there for him? Still, there was a bit of intensity there that I liked.Poor Severus. Noone should have that much practice at covering their emotions. The one time he lets his guard down and voices his feeling, he gets a taste of what he wants and then is sent home empty-handed (not that he'll be empty-handed for long after what Lucius started) *wonders if I just said that out loud*Nicely done.
Response from Keppiehed (Author of Balance of Power)
*dies laughing* That was precious. It is only a matter of time before you are writing these things for yourself, mark my words! LOL! That's delightful! You gave me a good chuckle this morning, to be sure. And yeah, this was my first time with SS/LM ... I was a little unsure, because they both seemed like tops to me, so I was thrown off by that, but I aim to please. Too bad Snape has been having a rough month with me. I think he's my new whipping boy! ;)

Holy Mother, where'e that Sport's Illustrated Swimsuit Issue? I GOTTA get that twisted tryst outta my mind!
Author's Response: Wow, that's so ... descriptive of you, Edge! *dimples* I merely do what I am asked. I don't question what people want. *laughs* But I warn you to skip the one about Hagrid that's coming up if you own that delicate of a constitution. *smiles evilly*
*gives final polish to flamethrower**squints**shrugs**packs flamethrower away again, still in unused condition* Damn that was good. You really had me going there. Tease! Poor ole Sev. :PFOR SALE: One Brand New Flamethrower. Any offers?
Response from Keppiehed (Author of Balance of Power)
*laughs* It was that much of a tease, eh? Poor Snape! He can't get a break these days, can he? Your review brought a grin to my face the Cheshire cat would envy. Thanks, love!
