Reviews for Sorting Night
I can't even begin to imagine how trapped Severus felt at that moment, although you've done a wonderful job in conveying what must have been a part of his inner turmoil.

It's so nice of you to go back and read this old one and leave such a thoughtful review. Thank you so much!

Awww, poor guy. I happen to think that even without his connection to Harry through Lily, it would be annoying to constantly hear everyone drone on and on about "the boy who lived." For him, it is just that much worse. It would be hard having to protect someone who is the spawn of and spitting image of your childhood nemesis. I've often wondered if this had been Harriet Potter, would Snape have shown affection for her (not in a pervy, inappropriate way), or would she still have just been James' kid?
Response from Keppiehed (Author of Sorting Night)
Snape was definitely put-upon. I really feel for the guy. I had quite a few people I didn't gat along with in H.S., and I can tell you that I know exactly how he felt. But I hope that if Harry had been a girl, they might have come up with a better name than "Harriet", *winks* But that raises a good point. Now THAT would make a good fanfic, wouldn't it? Re-Write the whole thing from a gender-different viewpoint with all the appropriate reaction differences!

See, I've finally set you up to write a really good long fic. No need to thank me. Can you imagine trying to re-write the entire thing? *is daunted*
Maybe thi gs would have difderent if he hadn't held such preconceived ideas about Harry.

You're right! Poor Snape! He's all angsty on the inside! *cuddles him*Thanks for reading, as always! (and I promise something other than Snape drabbles coming up next week)

I'm so sorry! When reading your answer I couldn't believed how many mistakes I made. That's what happens by writting on a cell phone. Sorry again

Hey, I give you kudos for being able to negotiate tech like that. I fail at anything more advanced than e-mail, seriously!
Such painful bitterness. Snape torments himself -- no other, now that the Marauders are gone -- with unnecessary speculation. like . Too bad he can't see Harry like any other child needing protection, but that wouldn't be Snape, would it? Excellent drabble, keppie.

Aw, thanks! You spoil me with praise, really! I feel like drabbles aren't my strong suit, but here you are saying such nice things. Next week's challenge involves a song, so I really hope that you are feeling kindly towards me if you chance to read that genre. *winces* These drabbles really will be the death of me yet.Thank you so much for reading it, and for your lovely review!
Love the sense of bitterness on the cusp of change

You know Snape doesn't like to mix things up! LOL! Hopefully my muse shall return, and my work will be better in the coming weeks. Thanks for reading this and sticking with me!
He knows things will change from now on! :)

You know that Snape doesn't like his cheese to be moved! ;)
An interesting take on Severus' feelings. I would truly be surprised if Snape had even taken the time to seek Harry out while he was living with the Dursleys before he came to Hogwarts for just this reason. ^_^
Response from Keppiehed (Author of Sorting Night)
Ag, these little drabbles will be the death of me, though. I think this is the last time I sign up for an LDWS! (um, probably until the next time, LOL!) Thanks for reading, I really appreciate it!
