Geek girl extrodinare!
I write fan fiction all over the place, a lot of it is archived over at Sycophant Hex, since (as lovely as the Petualnt Poetess is, there's no crossovers allowed) I've been a huge crossover kick lately.
I have no one true pair in Harry Potter. I write Hermione and Snape the majority of the time, but I'm open to anything.
I've loads more fandoms than Harry Potter - far too many to name, so let's just say I'm well rounded, eh? Due to how long it takes me to write, I'm trying not to post things anymore unless they are finished. This includes my current works in progress. Never fear, I've not abandoned a thing, just won't be posting until they're done.
You can always check out my livejournal for the whole geeky scoop on me.

I am not really into mysteries so it was a wonderful surprise to enjoy this one so much :)
It's been a while since a read the first chapter so it's taken me a while to figure out how it started. I didn't want to go back and read the whole first chapter. I blame this on a terrible sinus infection that makes my attention span even shorter than normal. I enjoyed this and look forward to more!
I enjoyed reading your story - it was a nice mystery. I found myself a little confused and wanting to know more of the background of the house and ghost. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you.
Thank you for such an imaginative story. It was fun to read. It's tone reminded me a bit of Touch Not the Cat by Mary Stewart. Have you read that?
Response from Celisnebula (Author of Llansteffan House)
No, I haven't. Is it a mystery book? If so, that might be why. Lately, it seems like all I've been reading is paranormal and YA books (the YA books because I host a bookclub for teenagers). Is it any good?Oh and before I forget, thank you for the review!

It is not new - published in 1976 - but the story is good. I have always thought Mary Stewart to be an exceptional yarn-spinner. Her stories are always compelling. I read them as a teen so maybe they fit with your book club ...
Woah! I am still not sure what the ghost was trying to tell Hermione or if her aunt had even more stories to tell, but I am sure that twist took me by surprise.. Of all the times for Severus to miss discerning something, I am disappointed that for almost two years he let this Muggle woman fool him. Very glad that Harry and Mrs Granger led the rescue. And YAY FOR CROOKSHANKS!! I swear he had a pleased expression on his little cat face. Thanks for the story!

The next chapter is in the queue... and it is the last chapter too. Story was an exchange piece and I tried to post as much at once as I could.
Well written mystery! Cannot wait to read more.

Wonderful! It reads like a Victorian Gothic novel. I can't wait to read more!

Thank you, that is actually what I was trying for... though I didn't succeed as much as I would've liked.
