I like the premise that she wants to intervene at his meeting Lily. She knows Lily was the route of Severus's life choices and heartache. Smart lass, she is. ;)

Oh my. The implications of these time turner fics make my head spin. I think that's part of why I enjoy them. This is definitely a new twist. I wonder what will happen to Hermione's parents? And how long will she stay? And does she really want Severus not to join the Death Eaters -- I mean he was the spy, after all -- or just to be better adjusted?

Please update soon. I want to know what happens. I think this is going to be my favorite time-traveling stroy with hermione and severus.
I'm excited about this story! I'm glad I came to read reviews before posting, because I was also wondering about Hermione's own awareness of the situation. At times she did seem to already know who Severus is and the situation, but she was very believable when she asked questions about what Muggles were and didn't refer to her abilities as "magic" until Severus suggested it. I was busily trying to work out how Hermione got there at the right age. I assume she must have used a time-turner in addition to the de-aging potion. Can't wait for updates!

In my version of JKR's universe, the de-aging potion left Hermione with knowledge and memories intact. She used a Time-Turner and (sneak peek) arithmantic equations to determine the age/time answers:) Not the Brightest Witch of Her Age for nothing:)I'm so glad you like it:)Warm regards,Fizzabella
Great start. Jusr one question. Does Hermione have her adult brain in the child's body or is she somehow de-aged and knows her mission and has the memories, but still the emotions of a young child? :)

Hermione's de-aging potion left her memories and common sense and maturity intact. It reversed her size, build and apparent chronological age, but she is almost 19 spiritually and emotionally. Don't ask me how—it's MAGIC!Thank you for reviewing:)Fizzabella

Harry is insightful enough to know he isn't the one to make friends with Severus, and also that someone would notice him if he went missing.

I knew Harry wouldn't be comfortable trying to befriend Severus, to say nothing of the fact that it would be TOO STRANGE for him to go back to his mother's childhood and grow up with her.
