It sounds like a plan that was written on the back of a beer mat, at the end of a long night of drinking, Ron and Lavender must be crazy to think it would work.
LOL on Viktor and Hermione. Harry's advice is best of course. They're sitting ducks if people think either one is unattached.If you don't mind my saying, this was really good and covered all the bases, but it feels a bit rushed. It would be a great 1000-5000 word one-shot, I think. You've managed to evoke an old Bogart movie feel with the banter, and it would be a lot of fun to really see all that wonderful conversation developed more.

You guessed it. That is exactly what I am planning to do. Probably at OWL, later this year, when I have had a chance to rework some of the scenes. I was watching Casablanca when I was thinking about this. I'm glad you caught that. And it will most likely become a chaptered fic with the backstory of why they kept the marriage secret. More proof that Won-Won and Lav-Lav absolutely deserve each other. No one else could possibly tolerate them. They just need to seriously leave Viktor and Hermione in peace. Loved it!

Blue Artemis and I took the same prompt and went in totally different directions. Hers was more comical and mine more serious. But we used the same characters. I swear we are living in each other's head. Or we are telepathically linked. Her's is on FFN under her name and the title is Rescue Me.We are having a ball with your prompts. Cute, but I'm sorry, I liked blue artemis' version of the prompt better. No offense meant, okay? Hers just had more humour in it than this does. ^_^

That is why Ron and Lavender so perfect together. Both dim, both immature. Hermione and Viktor are more mature, smarter, and just plain nicer. Thanks for reading & reviewing.

They are very private people. The avalanche of fangirl response to Viktor being married to Hermione would have driven them both mad. Better to leave it for a few years until some new, younger Quidditch hunk redirects the adulation.Thanks for reading & reviewing.
