I’m a 40-something British woman, residing in the Ribble Valley in north-west England. I’m a pharmacist and a counsellor. My penname, Agnus Castus, is a herbal remedy for women’s hormone problems. I also co-write with The Snapettes.
I can also be found in the Facebook group "Muffliato!" for folks who appreciate SS/OC fanfic.

Oh my. Poor Sev. Nothing like being shocked to discover her here and one of his new students. Although if he is around 21 and she is 17, tgen they were in the house when he was a student. I would have thought he would remember her. Guess not. Nice little story.

I tend to think Snape was so wrapped up in Lily Evans, the Marauders and wannabee Death Eaters when he was a student that younger Slytherins would have passed him by... Thanks for your review.
Ah, poor Sev! He can't even enjoy savouring a little dangerous liason without it turning sour... having said that, the Slytherin in me is intrigued with Miss Eliza Urquhart - perhaps any other of her escapades with the young Potions master will be shared further with us, in the future?

You never know,
Response from Agnus Castus (Author of 1st September 1981)
, I certainly have a few ideas about Miss Eliza Urquhart! If my muse and my quill are in agreement, I may write their story at some point. Thanks for your review
Awh, Severus! Slytherins are just too sneaky!
Response from Agnus Castus (Author of 1st September 1981)
Hehe! Yes, he got out-maneuvered here. Thanks for reviewing.
I'm a bit sorry for him as I know what girls can do to look older. Maybe she is the reason for his teaching mode and person, so noone can approach him and get blackmail material.
Response from Agnus Castus (Author of 1st September 1981)
Snitchette, you make an excellent point! It could indeed be one of the reasons for his untouchable teaching style. Thanks for reviewing.
Hmm.... time for Severus to learn some memory spells... Thanks for posting this!
Response from Agnus Castus (Author of 1st September 1981)
Thanks for reviewing! Yes, Severus might want to procure the services of an Obliviator...
Poor Severus at the mercy of another teenage witch. Maybe that'll teach him to keep his fly zipped.
Response from Agnus Castus (Author of 1st September 1981)
Hopefully it will teach him a great many things. Wisdom may come through experience! Thanks for your review.
An intriguing concept. I would love to know more about the devious and scheming Eliza Urquhart. She sounds like a force to be reckoned with and a rather nice distraction for Snape. She would also be not too dissimilar from him in age. There is so much potential for an unsettling liaison between these too. I particularly love this line: "With the benefit of hindsight, it is easy to recognise her seduction technique; but with my sobriety in tatters and my shyness reversed, I was easy bait." Excellent stuff.
Response from Agnus Castus (Author of 1st September 1981)
Thanks very much, I'm glad you liked that line; it was one of those moments when the words just spilled out onto the page without me really thinking about them. I love it when the muse takes control!
Have you decided whether or not you'll be continuing this? Because I would sure like to read how Snape is handling this situation.
Response from Agnus Castus (Author of 1st September 1981)
Thanks for reviewing, dearest. I've not decided yet; life's full to the brim, and I can't commit to another long fic at the moment. I'd like to see what kind of response this drabble receives, though, and spend some time thinking carefully about the plot. If I can catch the snitch, I'll let you know!
Well at least Severus' luck is consistent, all bad.
