Painful,darkly erotic. Though I I understand Loony's reasoning behind Severus being submissive I must say that I disagree to a point. Though Severus is tightly controled I do not see him in control(of his life). How can he be? When his 2 masters are constantly pulling him in opposite directions. I DO see him giving up control of his own body for the release he needs to"feel". On the other hand he IS rigidly in control of himself and his students in the classroom. I see him as an alpa male and thus needing to dominate those around him. I can see him as a dominant in a relationship. So to me I see him as adominant whith switch tendencies depending on who,when and where he is in life This story is very sad, and what a sad ending for a sad man.

S. choses L. for his release, and is submissive only to him. So yes, he is in control, and he is not. And in the end, he is even in control of his own death, in a way. Thank you for reading this dark story. Along with "Obliviate", it is the worst I have ever written inside fandom.

Very good, very sad. I like the idea of Severus being the more submissive one. It seems more likely that the pressures of staying in control all the time *would* make loss of control with someone trusted a huge release. And vice versa, that Remus's lack of control in his life (finaces, physical health, etc.) would make him want to be in control *somewhere*.I like too how Remus is never mentioned by name until the very very end. It gives it a lot more power. :)

Thanks so much for reading this cruel, sad story, and for bothering to review. Darkfic and slash and character death - it is usually what I avoid to read, not to talk avoid to write. But this one had to be posted anyway.

WOW, I have no words. This has left me breathless. Did not expect the ending but I am glad he died with love in his heart. From lust to torture to awesome sex. The need to feel alive can bring out the worst or the best in everyone. I am glad you chose Remus for Severus.
