You know, I don't typically like Slughorn as a character, he always seems too self-serving, however I like how you've portrayed him even in this little drabble. Kudos, for being able to change my thoughts on the man in so few words. :)

Ooo... Interesting contrast.  I have to admit, seeing Parvarti get scolded, but only initially, because her desperate measures in the face of such horror, makes Regulus look even more like a whiny baby.  I was more kindly inclined toward him to start with, but not after considering Parvarti's situation.

I liked the way you involved less obvious characters. The different dynamics between the different sets of siblings was well portrayed.

Brilliant story with a great plot, I actually liked your Slughorn at the end here, and he aint usually a man I care much about. Subtle and brilliantly told!

Beautiful contrast here, very well done. Regulus seems rather whiny, but I imagine Sirius' ability to not work would get irritating very quickly.
