Oh man, how very sad! *sniffles*  Very nicely done, as always.  Here's a suggestion: you should start posting stories two at at time, one that is very sad or angsty followed by a dose of humor.  You do both well, and then I wouldn't be left feeling devestated after you stuff.  *wonders if evil plot to get twice as many stories out of you is working*

Response from Keppiehed (Author of The Last Grain)

LOL! I never think my humor is up to snuff, so I'm glad to hear you like it just as well. And I don't know that I need encouragement to write more ... I need encouragement to pack. How about "for every story, pack a damned box?" That might work! The house would be done in no time flat!

*blink back tears* That is so very sad.

Response from Keppiehed (Author of The Last Grain)

Aw, thanks! It wasn't a winner, but it came close. I'm glad you liked it, I do love my angst. Thanks so much for always keeping an eye out for me!

That was very warm, yet sad. Excellent work, Keppie.

Author's Response: Thanks very much, Edge!  Must be a week of weepy work for me? Don't worry, I have a bunch of fun stuff in the pipeline. Thanks, as always, for reading!

The image of Harry fading is painful enough, but our portrayal of Snape's desolation is heart wrenching.

Response from Keppiehed (Author of The Last Grain)

Thanks! I could have done more, but that's the rub with the word limit on these babies. A lot to squeeze into a mere 300 words, you know? I was hoping the emotion came through! Thanks for your ever-faithful reviews. I am coming to look forward to them!

Response from quaffswinegaily (Reviewer)

If that's the case, I'd better make them a bit more erudite in future.

Painfully beautiful.

Response from Keppiehed (Author of The Last Grain)

Thanks! I do love my angst. Next week is fluff, so I'm sweating bullets. Keep your fingers crossed for me! And thanks so much for reading.
