I find it hysterical that you have him playing Smoke on the Water.  Do you see him as just a beginner guitar player or do you see him stuck in the music of his youth (as being the ONLY really good music)?I wonder if he is actually annoyed with her lack of desire to control her eyes ... or perhaps he is intrigued deep down.

Oh yes. Hermione should not let Severus have the final say here. I do admire her ability to walk out the door though, drooling all over him would have been more like my option I am afraid. But, a determinded Hermione works like a niffler looking for gold so Severus better run and hide (and what a shame that would have been) if I doesnt want to be caught by a certain Know-it-all:-))
