Reviews for Rare Creatures
Not a pairing I've ever read before, but the way you've written it, I could see how they might fall for each other. Not bad. :)
Ooooh, great one-shot! It's rare to find a good SS/LL fic. Thanks!

Thank you so much! I'm glad people are still enjoying it!
This is lovely - delicately done and nice to see a piece which shows their older and wiser selves. I like it very much.

Thank you! I personally prefer to see them a little older, and late twenties isn't so old when you expect to live to over a hundred, after all. Somehow I never quite see this pair as kids who can't control their passion, although passion certainly comes into it! ;) Thanks for the review!
This is so romantic I had to read it twice. The progress of their relationship from professor and his student to husband and wife was so well developed. Slowly the way they saw each other changed, and I was totally caught up in this metamorphosis. I like that it took years to develop. Both of them had demons that they needed to put to rest, and when the time was right... yeah, the time was right and they both knew it.Just think. If Luna hadn't found that toy snake, none of this may have happened.Very nicely done. Beth

That toy was a great prompt! I think the attraction of Snuna, at least for me, is precisely that the romance develops so delicately, like a flower opening petal by petal. Whether it happens quickly or slowly, there's still that lovely progression. Thank you for the review!
What a wonderful story, I loved it!

I'm really liking this. :)

Thank you. I think the pairing, generally, is just wonderful.
Behind the light prose, one can feel the weight of the years - time passes, they change, and the tension rises as the reader wonders if they will ever get together.

Thank you! I did want the passage of years to show. She's still a child when the war ends, if she was ever a child, and I wanted them both to develop a bit before they came together. Since wizards tend to live over 100 years, a decade to grow and be sure of themselves seems a good investment.
The gentle transition as they mature and heal is lovely.

I'm glad that came through. It's important to me that they both be adults and fully ready for their life together. Thank you!
