Ear plugs can be useful, but as they are Wizards maybe they can set Silencing Spells. If it's not enough there is also Sound Proofing Charms...

*snork* Oh dear! Poor Weasleys - they really should have soundproofed that room. Even if they hadn't been having sex, Harry and Snape were due to make some noise. Shouting, rhythmic thumping, you really wouldn't want to hear it either way! My favourite by far was Arthur's reaction. Pay no attention, then congratulate them for a time well had...
