Reviews for The Mark
How sad that the faith she had had been destroyed, but seeing the Mark on his arm. We all make bad choices sometimes, some make bigger ones. I hope for Draco.
Response from Keppiehed (Author of The Mark)
What is it about Draco that brings out such strong emotions? He is such a figure of tragedy, of almost and what could have been. Ah, well... thank you for reading it, my dear! I am so glad that you liked it. I always enjoy your reviews!
Others have made that mistake before then tried to redeem themselves. So all hope is not lost.
Response from Keppiehed (Author of The Mark)
You might be right, but I think that for Hermione, her heart will never be open to him again the way it was in that unguarded moment. *sobs* There is nothing that stings more than what could have been, right? Ah, thanks for reading it! I always appreciate your reviews!
If she understands it is a mistake to take the marl, perhaps there is still hope

I see that you are a Draco/Hermione hopeful! That is one way to look at it, I suppose. Maybe Draco ends up charming her after all... ;) Your optimism brought a smile to my face. Thanks for reading it and for leaving your review, I do appreciate it!
Concern, hope, despair. You are going to kill me with words, keppiehed. Poor Hermione sees an innocent tainted by evil. Well done, again.

You are going to blow up my ego to enormous proportions with your delicious reviews! I am starting to get spoiled, I can feel it! Thanks so much for your kind and lovely words, I feel undeserving of such praise, but I will take it and run with it. You have made my day!

Boy that was bitter and sad.
Poor Hermione. Oh well, that's life: it sucks.
Good one, Keppie!
Author's Response: *laughs* I hope I don't have a reputation for carrying the "life sucks" banner. Maybe I'd better write something cheerful, post haste! Thanks for reading it, you are always very kind to me!
Ok, first let's get something out of the way: Stop writing, I can't keep up! I liked this in all of it's sadness. Just when she has begun to see something good in him, she finds proof that he has made the ultimate bad choice, and once again the beauty of his face is hidden. Maybe the worst part is that it actually may not have been his choice to make, but in their current game of good vs evil, there isn't a lot of room for shades of grey.

I am glad that you liked this! I know that drabbles aren't your favorite thing, but you really got where I was going with this. It was a lot of feeling to cram into 300 words, but I'm glad that my ultimate meaning got through. (I lost the contest, of course--the rest were all romance!) Thanks for reading it, and don't worry, I'm back to a long wait in the queue!
