I'm a 29-year-old from the eastern outskirts of Europe who loves reading, languages, her job and has too much time on her hands for her own good.
Reviews for Had She or Had She Not?
bittersweet. thanks for sharing
Sad! But lyrical at the same time. I loved the description of the mossy grave.
Oh my... Okay stunned and can't think! It's been 70 years and he still holds onto her memory and takes care of her grave? Because of a selfless act? wow. beautifully written, and stunning.

That's Severus to you :) he sure knows how to be hung up on people, things and all...Thank you, I'm glad you liked it.
It's sad but beautiful.

Thank you very much!
It's an intriguing idea. How do you mourn for someone you don't really know, who saved your life? Interesting to see her friends have moved on, but Severus still persists

I think maybe it's just his modus operandi, of sorts. He hadn't known otherwise and it was maybe easier for him this way. Thnk you for reading!
Very well written and thought provoking. Thanks!

These kind of fics are confusing for me. They are so sad to read. Sad not for the death but for what could have been. But I like to read ones like this that are well written and say so much with so few words. It moved me, well done.

Thank you! I think I know what you mean about confusion. I myself can't read sad!fics about Severus and Hermione, especially the longer, elaborate ones :) and sure as hell could only manage a sad!fic of a very clipped length as a writer :) Hee, I'm just generally a happy-go-lucky person, I guess.
Ooooh, I like this. Because isn't that how anyone would feel in his situation? But maybe even more so for he who was lacking in both friendship and female companiondship. I like the parallel that is pointed out between his hang up with Lily, and his obsession to know the truth about Hermione. This was very enoyable, thanks for sharing.

Thank you for reading and leaving me a note to tell how you felt about it. I very much appreciate it.
Wonderful story! You packed so much into a few words, so much feeling and food for thought. As I drive down the road this afternoon, I will contemplate this poetic tale.
