Im a recent university graduate with a degree in politics and campaign experience for multiple candidates and political action groups. Though I am originally from the American Heartland, I am currently taking a gap year to teach English as a Foreign Language to students at a Chinese high school.

Being a teacher leaves one with a surprising amount of free time, some of which I hope to use to improve my creative writing skills. I love the world Ms. Rowling created, and cant help but dive into it again and again.

Favorite pairings: HG/SS, HG/HP, and though I am generally not a fan of Ron, I will read pretty much anything that is well written.

I enjoyed this quite a bit. The sights and smells were well-integrated into a cogent snapshot of a timeless tradition. And you took a fairly mundane occurence -- shopping -- and made it something more. It almost feels like the introduction to a novel. But I cannot tell if the novel would be a drama, a mystery, or an adventure. Perhaps all three.
