I'm somewhat addicted to SSHG fics, but have a strong appreciation for Harry/Draco as well. It's nice to have two ships who can double date!
I hope you enjoy reading these drabbles as much as I enjoyed writing them.
Reviews for Hot Blooded
Well, I was sure it was Severus. I know why he had to vanish, but I was disapointed. You wrote the most delightful foreplay. Thank you!
I like it! What a great story. I;m glad there's more to come.
Very nice and I have to say - I thought it was Draco. Why? Well, if it had been Snape, he would have followed her into Grimmauld Place, but Draco couldn't because he had never been there.
Make sense?
I think it ups the tension and tease of the piece not to actually name the gyrating wizard. Mind you, part of me would have liked to have seen the follow-up in front of Mrs Black's portrait too. }:-)
I maintain what I said. I love Snape but I can't really picture him there. So Draco I thought, Draco it will be. Anyway, the two chapters were deliciously hot!!

Good - I'm glad you liked the fic, and also glad you thought it sounded like Draco! You are in the minority, but in agreement with me! He's most definitely the one I had in mind as I was writing. Thanks so much for reviewing - I appreciate it! :D
Oh my! You chose your title well because that's the state I'm in now. I don't know why but I'm thinking of Draco here. Snape just doesn't feel right.
Response from christev (Author of Hot Blooded)
Hee, hee! You'll find out in the end... sort of! :D
personally I think it was draco...that's just how the story speaks to me. you did this well :)
Response from christev (Author of Hot Blooded)
Shhhh! Don't tell the people claiming it's Severus, but... it IS Draco! It's fun keeping it ambiguous. I didn't really set out to do that from the beginning, but it's nice having a little bit of a puzzle. Thanks so much for reviewing! :D
Bravo, Chris. You never gave the readers any clue as to the identity of the mystery wizard... just the way you intended. That's quite sneaky for a Hufflepuff. Sure you're not Slytherin? Anyway, I pictured Draco. Much easier for him (than the decrepit Potions master) to bust a move on the dance floor. Not only are you a crafty author but you know how to write a hot, tension filled story. You have to work on the happy ending, however. Unless you had always planned for Hermione to make a return trip to the club...
Response from christev (Author of Hot Blooded)
Woo hoo! Your review makes me so happy! I think Draco could be absolute sex on a stick on the dance floor! Here's the thing - if Hermione had successfully captured Draco, she'd have to turn him in to the Aurors... her conscience would allow nothing less. This way he gets away and can come back to feel her shag her senseless er, dance with her another day!
I love this, Chris. You give no clues as the identity of the mystery Slytherin, other than his painted-on clothing, which isn't much of a clue as it is a delicious image. It's great how you integrated the dance moves (and frisking) to the song lyrics, and the descriptions are not only hot but well written. On to the next chapter...
Response from christev (Author of Hot Blooded)
Well, PJ insists that it's Sluggie! I'll go so far as to say it's not him! LOLI'm so glad you're enjoying it - thanks for letting me know. :D
Urgh! It was so absolutely Draco, but the ending was so- unfulfilling! On the other hand, you've got me listening to 'Brick House' now...
Response from christev (Author of Hot Blooded)
Well, as much as Hermione wanted to "fulfill" the ending, her conscience would have had her turning him in to the Aurors! So now he's free to drive her wild another day. :DOh, and I luuuuurve Brick House!
Draco was in my mind too....couldn't quite imagine Snape in that setting (altho he is my personal favourite). Loved it, very hot, but reckon Hermione should've checked lower..lol
Response from christev (Author of Hot Blooded)
Oh, good! I love Snape, and really SS/HG is my OTP, but for this story, Draco seemed like the right choice. Glad you liked the heat, too. Heh... I can't bring myself to write explicit smut, but came about as close as I dared with this. Maybe I need to go a little... hmmm:D
I was imagining Draco all the way. Especially when he was calling her Granger. I imagine Snape would call her either Hermione or Miss Granger. Hmm. Also, Snape would never wear "painted on" pants and shirt, but Draco had the body for that with all his Quidditch-trained muscles. Bravo. Loved it!
Response from christev (Author of Hot Blooded)
Exactly! I can totally see Draco taking advantage of Muggle fashions to show off his body. While it's fun that some people are surprised to find out it's not Snape, it's really nice to know that you had Draco in mind the whole way through. Thank you so much for letting me know! :D
Mmm hmmm. I wonder what would have happened if she'd succeeded? Love the banner, btw.
Response from christev (Author of Hot Blooded)
Well, then she would have had him in an environment where he couldn't escape from her, and she could have had her merry little way with him turned him over to the Aurorrs, definitely!:DI love the banenr too - from TalesofSnape, FTW!
Determination, Deliberation, and Damnation. She should have felt a little... lower. Geez that's hot. AV
Response from christev (Author of Hot Blooded)
*Grins*High praise from the queen of heat - thanks! (I'm getting a little warm thinking about it, to be honest!)
Definitely Snape. The lyrics definitely sets the mood, but the story is brilliant - the threat, the fear, the danger, and the passion... love it! AV
Response from christev (Author of Hot Blooded)
I don't want to comment, and ruin your surprise for chapter two, lol!I <3 you, babe!
What a crafty author you are! I still didn't know for sure who you had in mind as the wizard until you said it was Draco. Severus would have been my choice, but that's just me. I think you did a great job of writing a narrative while inviting the reader to become part of that narrative.Well done!Beth
Response from christev (Author of Hot Blooded)
LOL, Severus would be first choice for a LOT of us! When I first started writing this, I thought it was obvious that the character was Draco, but my alpha readers told me they thought it was Severus. So I figured I'd make sure he remained ambiguous and make a little game of it. I'm glad you liked that!I really appreciate your complimentary review - thank you so much.
Ha, I was right! When I reviewed the last chapter, I said that he character's inner voice sounded like Draco to me (even though I hoped it was Severus) despite the fact that I found it hard to understand why a pureblood snob like Draco would go to a Muggle club and don't think he would manage to blend in.
Response from christev (Author of Hot Blooded)
Way to go! I actually imagined Draco having gone clubbing before - at least enough that he would know the ropes. Unlike Snape, I think he'd be bored or stir crazy hiding all the time. And I can imagine him cocky enough to think he'd be fine "slumming with the Muggles" while he has a price on his head in the wizarding world. Thanks so much for reading and for reviewing! :D
Personally I would rather have Severus molesting me *GRINS*
Response from christev (Author of Hot Blooded)
Me too, actually, but this molester was Draco! :DThanks so much for reviewing!
Response from Marty21 (Reviewer)
Yeah I know but a girl can dream! lol :)
Yep. Draco was in my head too. :)
Response from christev (Author of Hot Blooded)
Oh, good! I really didn't even picture Severus in this situation for a couple of reasons: they were on the run, and I couldn't see him being that foolhardy; plus the SSHG fics I like best take place when Hermione has been out of Hogwarts for a number of years, so that there isn't such an imbalance of power in the relationship. Thanks so much for reading and reviewing! :D
Phhbbtt! I wanted it to be Severus. Oh pooh! ^_^
Response from christev (Author of Hot Blooded)
Never fear, in your mind, it is!(just not in my mind!)LOL
Response from MsTree (Reviewer)
You really don't want to know what goes on in my mind. ^_~
Yum. I had Severus in mind because of his purring drawl. Plus I ship SSHG anyway heh. Looking forward to more!
Response from christev (Author of Hot Blooded)
Well, even though I was writing Draco, I left it ambiguous for everyone who had a schmexy Snape in their head while reading it. :)... and that's it. No more. Sorry! (Feel free to pick up the trail...)
love the differences in p.o.v and the diff in motivation to feel eachother uphaha, classic =D
Response from christev (Author of Hot Blooded)
Thank you! Hermione's motivation sure started out different, although she did have a bit of a hard time keeping her mind on business at hand... so to speak. :)
dang, that was hot, christev! Yum. I find it interesting, though, that Hermione's motives were quite different from his were. Well, not entirely different. :) Can't wait to see how it all unfolds.
Response from christev (Author of Hot Blooded)
Hee, hee! Thanks, Deb! Well, Hermione was just going dancing, or so she thought. She was so shocked to see ... um, that wizard there that of course her first thought was that she should try and apprehend him. She did get a little carried away in the moment, and might get a little more so in the second half. :)
I'm picking Draco. She's not surprised enough with the skintight T-shirt and jeans for it to be Snape. :)
Response from christev (Author of Hot Blooded)
LOL! That's one I haven't heard yet - very interesting reasoning. I'll tell you about the mystery wizard's identity when I'm able to post chapter two.... :D
Muggle Dance Club? Snape and Malfoy? Severus and Draco, I presume. I would make the guess that it's one or the other. ^_^
Response from christev (Author of Hot Blooded)
Your guess is well calculated, but I'm keeping mum on which one it is till chapter two posts! :DThanks for reviewing!
I hope that it's Severus, but the thoughts going through his head sound more like Draco for some reason. That being said, venturing into the Muggle world does not seem at all in character for the son of a Death Eater who takes such pride in being a pureblood -- while Severus, as a half-blood, is much more likely to be capable of navigating the Muggle world. Good story!
Response from christev (Author of Hot Blooded)
I love all your reasoning- you'll be able to find out as soon as chapter two posts who the mystery wizard is! :DThanks so much for reading and reviewing!
