I wrote this as part of the OWL House Cup as a dark fic. Warning: this is the darkest thing I've written. Evil!Dumbledore.

You have exposed the esteemed headmaster as the truely evil bastard that he is, he made sure that Harry was broken well before he got to Hogwarts.
Response from blue artemis (Author of Broken is Best)
Yes, he did. I really don't like Dumbledore.
Response from mick42 (Reviewer)
Nor do I.
Eeek! My Dumbledore is seldom a nice guy, but that was truly evil. Strangely enough, it totally fits.

Hence the warning. Thanks for the review!
Since book 7 I really don't like Albus that much. And yes he is sickeningly scary there.
Response from blue artemis (Author of Broken is Best)
I scared myself writing this, because I could SEE this. Thanks for the review!
Although I prefer my Dumbly to be the good guy, I love to read an evil piece about him every now and then. And him playing with the kids makes perfect sense. Well done!

Thank you for the review! I wish Dumbles could have lived up to his potential for good, but I always think he took the path that made it easier for himself. In this case, though, I really went the route of pure evil.

This? Dark?
Oh, come on! I was expecting the very Gates of Hell to open up before my eyes! instead I just get a twisted old man playing puppeteer! Oh well...
It was a good read anyway!
Author's Response: Dark for me, anyway. I'm glad you enjoyed it, even if it wasn't what you expected.
Exactly the way I have always considered Albus. Devious deviant. Dirtbag extraordinaire.

Yeah. I don't like him either, and it was frightening how easy it was to write him this evil. Thanks for the review!
