I'm way too old to be visiting sites like this (dare I admit to forty-something!) but my love of all things Severus Snape/Alan Rickman keep me addicted! Poor health keeps me from working and at home all day and gives me too many excuses to read/write fan fiction in an attempt to keep me sane. I have two lovely sons, and an even lovelier hubby, to try and keep me on the 'straight and narrow'. And, now, they're aided in that task by the more recent addition to our family of two beautiful black, male, kittens - Merlin and Mesmer! (I wanted to call them both Alan Rickman-related names, so, naturally, one was very nearly 'Severus'... Unfortunately, my family drew the line at that particular wizard so I had to be a bit more subtle - hence Mesmer [as in Franz Anton for those not familiar with the AR film, 'Mesmer']; the name also happens to be short for mesmerising!) ;-)
I have a few stories (and poems) posted at Occlumency, under the same pen name as here, and have gradually been expanding on my repertoire both here and there over the last two or three years. Despite claiming to be in 'fanfic retirement' of recent times, I now find myself with newer additions on Ashwinder, Fanfiction.net and Granger Enchanted where I go by the names of Sevvy253 or Sevvysgirl/Sevvysgirl253. However, this site retains the most complete listing of all my work to date.
I also have an account on DeviantArt - http://sevvysgirl.deviantart.com/
where I am gradually starting to display some of my artwork 'attempts'! :-)
And - finally - I'm being totally shameless in promoting my own new shop on Etsy! Here is the link: http://www.etsy.com/shop/sevvy253?ref=si_shop
I'm only just starting up, so stock is limited at the moment, but I'm hoping I will go on to bigger (and better) things. From little acorns, and all that ... Please feel free to pop by from time to time to see what changes may be in store (no pun intended!)

There is an earpiece that is supposed to help with tinnitus, my father has it. He actually receives VA benefits because the ringing is so bad. He got his tinnitus from Viet Nam, automatic rifles will do that to you! If you want I can find out the name of the earpiece for you. Something to think on. I liked your story. They really are a rare pair, aren't they?

How terribly kind of you to talk about tinnitus help - thank you so much for this. I can only assume that the earpiece you are referring to is a 'masker' or similar - in the early days of my tinnitus (long time ago now!) I did try such things but with little success unfortunately. And, like your father, my tinnitus is so bad that I have now had to register as disabled & am unable to work. (Mine is also part of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/ME so, unfortunately, leaves me very restricted - hence the writing!)I'm glad you liked this one-shot, thanks for the review :-)
Mmm, yes, that voice, saying those things... quite lovely.

That voice saying absolutely *anything* would be lovely,

! Thanks so much for the review :-)
Wow, there is an ability you don't see in HPfandom. Bit confusing until I realized what it was, but it hits you like - Oh my gosh, that's sooo kewl!

I'm really glad you liked this! I have always thought that Snape, being a legilimens, would naturally have the ability to be telepathic - being able to both see into & speak into someone's mind seems to go together to me! Thanks so much for the review :-)
Great snippet, and a good pairing. :)

- I'm glad you enjoyed this! I have to admit to it being one of my own personal favourite pairings; I think the two of them work really well :-)
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this. Even though SSHG is my ship, it's a wonderful change of pace.Beth

Thank you, Beth. I love it when readers are open-minded enough to not only read but also review something a little different - I'm really grateful to you for that & so glad you enjoyed it :-)
