Reviews for Leaving
An honorable Viktor - dismayed by what he has done but being chivalrous to a girl he admires.
Response from kyriaofdelphi (Author of Leaving)
The perfect scene from a fairy tale. I hope that was what you wanted. I wanted to show his dismay and how she could reach him when he was sinking into despair.
I'm glad she forgave him. As she said he wasn't responsible after all.
Response from kyriaofdelphi (Author of Leaving)
She knew what his Slavic angst could do to him. She wanted him to accept he wasn't at fault. They were so alike, smart yet shy. That is why they became friends in the first place. Thanks for reading & reviewing.
Very sweet. I'd forgotten that he'd been Imprused. Yes, he'd have not liked how he acted. You improved his English, as well. You dropped his accecnt... was that intentional?Very sweet answer to the prompt.
Response from kyriaofdelphi (Author of Leaving)
I dropped the accent because there was an article on someone's LJ months ago that said the accent should be in the reader's mind not on the written page. I hear Viktor speaking with an inflection, not necessarily an accent.Slavic angst is very powerful, it can make or break a man. I like to think she stopped him from breaking. He is so proper and old-world that he would have broken without her words. I'll find the article on LJ and send the link to you. Thanks for reading & reviewing.
Those two are so adorable! Whatever was JKR thinking when she paired Hermione up with Ron?
Response from kyriaofdelphi (Author of Leaving)
Thank you for reading & reviewing. These two are the fairy tale romance I get to write over and over again. I heard last night in chat that JKR wrote herself as Hermione and Ron as her husband. But wouldn't you hate to be married to someone you were light-years ahead of in intelligence? Hermione and Ron just never fit together for me. Too much like milk and lemon juice. They curdled.
Sweet. :)

He's so proper and uptight. She doesn't want him to believe he is a bad person. They are so right for each other. Thanks for reading & reviewing.
That was very sweet and sad.

Hen was hurting because he had to leave her and because he was ashamed at how he had been Imperiused by Crouch. He responded to her pleas and began to realise she would be his salvation. He left with renewed hope for a future with her. She saw him go with a large chunk of her heart going with him. Thanks for reading & reviewing.
Very nice. Realistic with out too much sappiness.
Response from kyriaofdelphi (Author of Leaving)
The prompt was for a slice of life. I knew Viktor would have been very ashamed and Slavic angst tends to wallow in misery. Glad you liked it. Thanks.

Beautiful.
Very well done!
Author's Response: That scene of him in the movie, at the speech Dumbledore is giving about Cedric, where he looks so miserable, was the feeling I tried to write into this. He was ashamed and despondent. She refused to let him wallow in angst. They were good for each other and so right together. Thanks for reading & reviewing.
