my catalyst into the world of hp fanfic was the ignominious death of severus snape by snakebite in dh. grrrrr. he deserved better, and i set off on a mission to find it! i appreciate and admire the vast and limitless creativity of all of the wonderful writers on this site and in this fandom.
accordingly, for me it's mostly about snape: ss/le, ss/hg, ss/rl are my favorite ships. i especially like happy endings for those who did not get them at the hands of jkr.

I absolutely love their barbed attacks at one another. It's really an interesting style of flirting that always makes me smile. I think Snape was definitely portrayed correctly in all his venomous intelligence. Remus was as well to a point but then he wasn't really shown in the books very often except as always being nice. I don't know why but JKR made him a big softie.

i'm glad you enjoyed my story. sorry for the delay in responding - i got behind during the review-a-thon, which is a nice problem to have, lol.i agree with you that remus is not as defined in the books, so it's a little harder to figure out what to do with him sometimes, lol, but the fact he's a big softie is 1) why i like him and 2) why i think he would be able to deal with snape's sharp edges, lol.
Adorable. I love how Remus turns the tables on him and becomes unavailable in the middle bit. :D

Oh, I hope you're not teasing me!!! ;D
Do I detect flirty, snarkiness on both their parts? Dirty dancing? Severus never ceases to amaze me. Funny, witty correspondence. Thanks for forcing them to write each other.

glad you found it funny and witty. and yes, severus is a man of many talents, many of them hidden. not sure they know yet that they are flirting ... if not, then soon. *hugs* :D
I loved this! I laughed out loud when Remus apologized for insinuating Severus had broken into his house, pantsless. Clever Remus figuring out that the best way to get Severus to notice him is to play hard to get. Well done!

i'm so glad you found it amusing. funny, i never thought of it as him playing hard to get, but i guess that's what he did. thanks so much for the review. :D
If you prefer vapid, empty-headed males, I'm sure you will appeal to those as well. LOL
