HP will always be my original fandom, but these days you'll often find me trundling about in manga/anime fandoms. No OTPs (or OT3s), and gen is always nice.
I’ve hopscotched my way across the States and currently live someplace cold. Very cold. With wind. I keep telling myself it's a character building experience.
Proud parent of an adorable house rabbit and two clingy cats. Mostly a beta, occasionally an author. You can find me at slytherinlaurel.livejournal.com and slytherinlaurel.tumblr.com. Stop by and say hi!

Simply beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
What a beautiful gift. It's amazing that Narcissa found sanity in the horor that became her life. That she was able to reach out and try to help a friend, even covertly is remarkable testamont to her character. A very moving protrayal.
Well done - I always enjoy stories where Narcissa is given greater dimension - not just a vapid and cold trophy. A woman who loved her child so intensly she would take the risks she did, was far deeper than she's given credit for.
This was so beautiful. I loved it.
I think it's interesting what she chose to keep her sane. One has to do what one can in such a situation. Lovely imagery, my dear.
Lovely insight to Narcissa's feelings as her home is invaded. :)
